great historic property and interesting history. the owners were fabulous , and very welcoming. beatiful and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. highly recommend.

What a hospitable stay! From arrival to departure, nothing is missing from the service-oriented approach of Theun and Mike. Many hotel employees can learn something from this! Certainly not the last time.

A very nice place in a small town, it is a national monument. The hosts are very attentive and friendly, they do everything for you to have an unforgettable stay. There are 3 bedrooms with super good beds and there are possibilities to make tea and coffee (with chocolate and cookies) in the bedroom. Breakfast is very good and you can order what you want. I do recommend this small and beautiful hotel

Hospitality in capital letters is the best description. Nice location and rooms, quiet location and parking in front of the door. Teun & Mike are open, friendly hosts with an eye for detail. Ample breakfast served to size. Quiet village in the region with fast connection to Dokkum Heerenveen and Ameland.

Great historic place where a B and B is located. Beautiful large room with large bathroom with walk-in shower and double sink. Coffee and tea in the room. You can use a roof terrace. From this accommodation you can cycle in the area around the mudflats, Dokkum and Holwerd, where beautiful terp villages await you. The two owners are pleasant and friendly. There is a nice terrace around the building. Breakfast fine.

Wat een bijzondere en verrassende B&B in het 'Hoge Noorden'!! Hier word je bijna letterlijk in de watten gelegd; ontvangen en verzorgd alsof je bij vrienden thuis bent. In een schitterend pand, met royale en klassiek ingerichte kamers doen Theun en Mike er alles aan om de gast als 'koning(in)' te behandelen. En het ontbijt, vlak voor vertrek is dan de kers op de taart! We gaan nadenken over een Spaans, muzikale tour door Friesland en komen dan graag ook bij jullie langs!
