Great environment, clean rooms, and excellent service. They even included Ocean Park tickets and breakfast. At just over 500, it's really good value for money. This hotel is quite convenient. When checking in, you get free tickets to the Ocean Park and museum. For hotel guests with children under 1.2 meters, Ocean Park tickets are only 9.9 RMB, which is great, considering the regular price is 160 RMB. It's excellent value for money. The breakfast selection is also quite extensive. There's a small train that circles the island right outside the hotel, but we drove ourselves, so we didn't experience it. The room was just okay. However, the complimentary services were excellent, especially the beluga whale show at the Ocean Park and the evening drone light show with fireworks – both were spectacular. The cultural street, on the other hand, wasn't very interesting. We went to the Five Nations Hot Springs, but it was quite late, so we didn't get to explore much before it closed. It seemed like it would have been worth seeing properly. Breakfast was average, and it was incredibly crowded, feeling like we were surrounded by a lot of 'laotie' (a term often used for people from northeastern China, sometimes implying a boisterous crowd).

First off, parking was an absolute nightmare! And the queue for the mini train was massive!! 1: They make you do self-check-in. After adults queue to scan their IDs, kids then have to queue AGAIN at the front desk for registration! Just checking in took almost an hour! 2: The room facilities are incredibly old and run-down! The cabinets were falling apart! The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned; it was all yellowed! And the carpet, how can it be so dirty without being cleaned??? For such a big hotel, they don't provide disposable slippers! You have to call to request them! They put out these few pairs of plastic slippers! Oh my goodness! Staying here during the Chinese New Year for 500 yuan was an absolute steal! The hotel lobby is stunning. I loved the self-check-in option; no waiting in lines. The room wasn't huge, but it had everything we needed, and they even installed a safety railing for the kids beforehand, which was a thoughtful touch. Housekeeping was prompt too. Last year, my stay at Oubao (the hotel) on the island wasn't this bad, but this year was beyond imagination. Initially, the room had windows that couldn't open, and the room smelled really damp. When I switched rooms, the pillows had bloodstains, and the pillow inserts had a strong rancid smell. The room was great. I have to thank Trip.com, as I booked the wrong dates and they helped me get a full refund for those days, which I really appreciate. However, the Eurotel is supposed to be a bit grander. My parents and I booked a suite, and I was going to sleep on the sofa for a night. I asked for an extra blanket, but the service here is quite inconsistent. The last staff member I spoke to helped me with the blanket, but the previous ones all said they didn't have any. This hotel is perfect for families with kids! The staff were so thoughtful, they even proactively asked if we needed a bed rail to keep our baby from falling out of bed.
