Daocheng Yading Shangri-La Town Four Seasons Lotus Inn

If you come to Daocheng Yading, stay at Four Seasons Lotus Hotel. It's very close to the bus station, and there are plenty of places to eat around. The owner is warm and hospitable, and the receptionist is beautiful, kind, and attentive. She introduced various scenic routes and precautions, and even gave us a phone number for sharing a ride to the airport. The dogs in the hotel are also super cute!

The room was very clean and spacious. There was a small tea tray in the room and a large tea table in the lobby. It was very relaxing to chat with friends after climbing Daocheng Yading. You can also see pandas in the hotel. They are super cute. Yesterday was the panda's third birthday. I wish him a happy birthday.

Facilities: The rooms at the B&B are meticulously maintained, and the details are truly heartwarming. I booked two nights. On the first night, my Xunyou room was equipped with oxygen, and on the second, the hostess helpfully upgraded me to a suite. Both rooms came standard with a humidifier, which was a welcome relief from my dryness. They also had extra power strips, which was crucial! Many B&Bs and hotels don't have the right placement and number of power strips, but this one was very convenient! Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. The bathroom even had alcohol disinfectant, and there was no dust in the smallest details. Environment: Quiet yet centrally located in the heart of town, very close to the bus station! It's also right next to the Sangye Post Office! There's also a delicious Nanjing soup dumpling restaurant! The location is perfect: quiet and perfect for a restful night, and carpooling is also very convenient. Service: Thoughtful in every aspect, from food and clothing to accommodation and transportation. Before we set off, the owner reminded me of the appropriate clothing for the weather in Daocheng Yading. For food, he recommended delicious Sichuan restaurants with the slightly spicy yet fragrant flavors typical of northern Sichuan cuisine, as well as excellent coffee shops with excellent quality and delicious drinks. For accommodations, he brought our luggage to our room and helped us put away our laundry. He even upgraded us to a suite on our last night, especially when they had a room available, so we could have more space to pack. For transportation, upon check-in, he provided us with tips and maps for the Daocheng Yading scenic area and helped us contact a chartered car driver. The price was very reasonable, which saved us a lot of time. Thank you for meeting us and for your thoughtful care along the way! Our experience here was absolutely perfect. We stayed here on our first and third nights, with the night in between in Yading Village. Thanks to the help of the owner and the front desk lady, our trip was so smooth, something that even star-rated hotels sometimes fail to fully address. I would recommend this to my friends.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I originally booked it as a break for a day, but it turned out to be a hidden gem. The service was excellent, and the restaurant recommended by the hostess was also very good. She even called me when I left my phone in the restaurant. I was really touched! Later I learned that many celebrities have stayed at this hotel, which was really shocking.

This was the only hotel I stayed in for two days on this trip. I arrived at midnight. The room was small and the facilities were outdated. It wasn't the kind I liked at first glance, but the more I stayed there, the more I liked it. I was given a room on the first floor, which felt a bit damp (I discovered the electric blanket the next day and it was comfortable 😌). I was a little reluctant about the hotel's arrangement, but it was too late so I didn't bother. I left at 7:00 the next day. The hotel's location can be found by navigating from the outside. Coming back from Aden, the hotel was a bit difficult to find. You need to navigate to the steamed bun shop at the door, but there are many places to eat outside the hotel, which is super convenient. It's also convenient for charging your car. Overall, it's a good place and I recommend staying here. This steamed bun shop is delicious and is right next to the hotel. If you can't find the hotel, just navigate to it.

The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we checked in. Not only did she proactively help us plan our itinerary, she also explained in detail the important points to note about each attraction, such as which sections were difficult to navigate and when the best times to take photos were. These practical tips saved us a lot of time. What touched us most was that night in Yading Village, I suddenly developed altitude sickness. After going to the hospital for oxygen therapy, it was already early morning and raining, and we couldn't get a ride back. In a moment of desperation, we contacted the hostess, and she immediately drove to pick us up. She constantly checked on us along the way, truly like family. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities, and it was a very relaxing stay. The hotel staff were also incredibly kind, always available and attentive. If I visit Daocheng Yading again, I will definitely choose this hotel again! I will also recommend it to all my friends who come to visit. Such a warm hotel is worth it!

Lotus Inn is a lovely inn. The small courtyard is filled with flowers and trees, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The proprietress was also very welcoming. She was so eager to help us avoid pitfalls that she offered to give us a detailed tour of Yading Village and even offered to help me mail my belongings. It's a very warm inn.
