Today, I have landed back home after spending amazing week at this family-run hotel. I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towels😁 The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.

Booked last minute, liked the look of the location. Better than hoped for. All amenities close, shops, buses, bars and restaurants. Off the main road, so quiet. Lovely pool area, nice room for budget range. Beach and main town both close. For the price, hard to fault. Would definitely go again.

I booked this hotel with breakfast through Trip. The reception was open until midnight. Everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, the reception was unattended, so I contacted them via WhatsApp as instructed. Luckily, the owner's wife arrived by car. They also live there. I learned from the owner via her phone that the hotel was closed. I arranged with him that we could stay the night, but without breakfast. He refused to refund the €11 difference. He told me to contact the booking provider. I tried that, but they tried to fob me off with €6. How can you advertise a hotel that's closed?!

The resort is great. However, we were put in a family room for one night because our room wasn't ready yet. The beds were rock hard, and we were glad we only spent one night there. For the next two nights, we stayed in our booked room. It also had a TV with Netflix and other channels, but they didn't work because it was a hotel Wi-Fi network. So, while it might have been a nice idea, it unfortunately didn't work.

I personally booked one of the most satisfactory resort hotels in Greece, with a very high cost-effectiveness. However, please note that air conditioning and electric fans are charged (when we went there, it was off-peak and we didn't need to turn on the air conditioning)

Stayed here for a week. Lovely small hotel that is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The hotel is spotless, nina the cleaner was exceptional. Staff were always kind and helpful and I particularly enjoyed stroking the owners beautiful dog petra! Ideal location so many beautiful tavernas near by. Never an issue getting a sunbed. Breakfast was fine and the air con good value and effective in the September heat. We recommend this lovely hotel and are looking forward to coming back. Thank you for a much needed relaxing break.

We stayed at the Nireas Hotel in Crete for two week this August. Unfortunately, the standard of the accommodation did not match what we expected from the advertised 3T rating. There were a number of issues throughout our stay, both in our room and in the communal areas. Our room had very limited storage, bedding that was visibly yellowing, rough and worn towels and a crack in the wall. There were also concerns regarding cleanliness, including stains and floors that did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The communal areas also fell below the standard we expected. We observed bird faeces and debris in areas around the property, along with items that appeared to have been left or dumped in the parking area. The swimming pool had visible green algae, which was particularly disappointing. Housekeeping and towel changes were also inconsistent, with visits taking place very early on some days. Overall, the standard of cleanliness and maintenance did not feel consistent with the rating or presentation of the hotel when we booked. We appreciate that individual experiences can vary, and this review is based solely on our experience during our two-week stay. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay at the Nireas Hotel again based on the standard we experienced.
