Excellent service. Mr. Lepcha is a nice person. He guided us very well. Other staff also very good. Well property. We will visit next time.

I wanted to share that was very disappointed by the reservation department especially that one lady as she would not pick up the phone to ressolve the query and only wanted to chat. Even though I explained the entire scenario to her she was not helpful and really spoilt the experience. It is imperative to have people at the booking office who can ressolve your query and have a positive mindset.

I can only rave about this wonderful getaway. My heart melted when experiencing their fabulous location where everything seems nearby yet peaceful. Hospitality remains unmatched as genuine warmth radiated throughout every interaction. We appreciated cleanliness done efficiently, creating comfort while feeling safe. Each supportive team member enriched our visit displaying generosity, thus giving us moments full of joy during our explorations together. Unforgettable moments indeed.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Central Gleneagles Heritage Resort on The Mall Road, Darjeeling. The location is perfect for viewing of the Sleeping Buddha and Kanchenjunga, and in terms of connectivity as well. The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Yong and Mr. Aniket for taking good care of us.

Loved the hotel. Rooms are spacious, located just on the Mall, and food is good. Try to book the room with the terrace if you are visiting in winter or spring. The suite on the ground floor is also good. As it is a heritage property, some fixtures might be creaky, but that is not a showstopper.

I've never started at any place which felt more of a waste of money than this. We paid approx 8k+ a night which by no means gets u a very basic stay, and the disappointment began right after reaching Darjeeling when we realised that the hotel was not accessible by car. The last stretch was to be reached on foot. This is not mentioned anywhere and could be a concern if u are accompanied by old or differently abled people. Ideally, the hotel, knowing that we were expected, should have communicated where we should get dropped and sent a porter proactively but we spent 40 mins waiting on the street after a long tiring journey to be taken to the hotel. Then we were told that the 3 nights we were there for, we would need to change rooms every night as there was some confusion with our booking. The description says "luxury" but nuthin about this property gets remotely close to luxury. The curtains, upholstery, furniture all scream tacky!! It doesn't end here, from the dinner order only half the items were delivered and those too were wrong. The room mentions the breakfast time as 7, however we weren't served breakfast till 8.30 and that too after us sitting on their heads and finally receiving basic stuff. We ended up not having breakfast here the rest of the 2 days as we were getting late for our sight seeing tours. The staff is not one bit courteous and highly inexperienced and untrained. The room was not cleaned, bed not made and we were given some lame excuses. You are given 2 half litre bottles for a day between 2 people. This place is a joke!! To top it, the manager, Vikrant, tried to make a quick buck by asking us to pay 2000 for the dinner we ordered when the bill was actually just 1000. This place is a rip off!!
