Taj Chia Kutir Resort & Spa Darjeeling

Everything was very good from food to room to location to facilities

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Taj Chia Kutir Darjeeling! Nestled in the heart of the hills, the tranquil atmosphere was perfect for unwinding. The tea plantation trek was a highlight, offering breathtaking views and a serene experience. The free yoga classes were a wonderful addition, helping us feel completely rejuvenated. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful options to suit every palate. Above all, the staff were exceptional – attentive, warm, and incredibly helpful. It was truly a memorable stay, and we can't wait to return!

The place is heaven. We took the valley facing villa. It's huge and equivalent to a luxury one bed apartment. We spent 50% of our time sitting in the balcony and taking in the fresh air and view. Weather was perfect. The resort staff is very helpful and courteous. Special mention for Rohan in F&B and Sachin in housekeeping. Overall a beautiful must go resort. No need to go out anywhere. The tea tasting session was also very informative and professional. The person conducting the session was a great Orator. Would highly recommend this place.

Stayed for one night with family at Taj Chia Kutir and had a wonderful experience. We received a room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture. Service was truly Taj standard throughout the stay. Food at the restaurant was excellent and the live music at the bar was exceptionally good. The property offers lots of activities and a very luxurious tea-estate experience. Only suggestion would be that the musicians could also perform at the restaurant area since the bar has age restrictions for children. Overall, a fantastic and memorable stay.

The hotel is superbly located . The rooms are extremely comfortable and Taj hospitality is always first class. The lobby , the bar, the restaurant are all well located with great views. The only thing is I had expected a better breakfast. Not Taj standard

Let me start by saying the location of this property is absolutely unbeatable. If you are planning a trip to Darjeeling...this is a place you should seriously consider staying at. The hotel has a beautiful character, calming and almost therapeutic ambience. It truly feels like hitting a reset button. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was how open the team is to feedback. Nothing is ever perfect, but what matters is how it is received and here it is taken in the right spirit. That is refreshing to see. Do not miss the live music at the bar. It is the perfect finishing touch to your evenings. Experience the walk to their vegetable garden. So well maintained. The Makaibari tea session and storytelling experience is also something special. It is not just about tea, it is something else :) A special mention to Mr. Shahid for his warm hospitality. It truly made the stay even more memorable.

It was not nice experience. Atmosphere was good . Food was average . We came to visit for anniversary purpose . Last year same time we visited over here .that time experience was very good . But this time i did not enjoy. 1. Welcoming was not there 2. Unpleasant smell was coming from water goblet like egg smell . May be did not wiped with fresh cloth or did not change glass washer chemical. 3. One of the waitress given to me fork which was bent . 4. One of the waitress who is shuveena she given nice service. 5. They served white wine to me with out ice bucket . When i asked that time they given to me .

We had been there for a Business Conference so we had everything organized. The staff there made the stay more special. Special mention to Sanjoy, Kaustub and Anshuman. They were very attentive, warm and hospitable. We had a medical emergency which was attended to swiftly. Would recommend a visit. The views are beautiful n mystic
