The Heritage Darwin

Nothing much about enjoying the stay. Check in is a problem. We arrived st 4pm & was unable to check in even though i had already informed via email in this trip. com thst i will arrive ard 4pm. The door even stated that the working hours is up to 5pm. I had ring the bell 2x & then the person told me to go to their another hotel to collect the key. it takes ard 10 mins walk dragging our luggages ti this hotel to collect the key & rtn back to the hotel to go to my room. nobody then inform us a to where our room is thus we tap the key to go to the hotel reception & noted therr was actually 2-3 staffs inside. i just do not understand if there are people ard, why are they expecting us to go to abither place to collect our key. Another thing is the kettle. Gosh... it was so rusty & dirty & not fit to boil any water. Only on our 3rd day then we are able to ask the recep as ee need to leave earlier for the tour. We were shocked to know that the recep told us that all along their kettle should be white & why are we having tha black rusty kettle. Obviously whose fault is this! We then went out & upon return found a dirty rag & a dirty sponge on the table... very disgusting & obviously their room cleaner is very horrible at doing their cleaning job. We stayed for 4 nites & I guess that's enuf.

Nice location one block back from the Esplanade. Easy walking to shopping area The Heritage has recently been renovated & everything is new. No hair dryer in the room but available from reception. The location can be noisy at night with nearby music or excited sports fans. Staff are extremely helpful, especially Nicholas I enjoyed my stay

A convenient location to conference place with basic facility. There is no reception sometimes, making it difficult to check in.

It was good last time we went here and believe it would be getting better however the power tripped and then went down to inform reception and was attended as the GPO breaker had shut off, next the floor was flooded as the shower shoots out the hub and glass screen door, should not have been a drama if the main floor waste/drainage was not partially clogged including the wash basin that takes time to  drain. And lastly pest control maybe in place but a big cockroach was on the floor and had to squash it to prevent more issues.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The facilities were excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We truly loved every moment and had a fantastic experience. We will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future. Highly recommended!

If you arrive outside the reception hours of 8 to 5 you will have to go to the H on Mitchell Street to check in. I didn’t get the text because apparently trip.com had given them some random number, definitely not mine. Other than that, it’s very noisy on a Friday night so make sure you have your earplugs, I messaged them about a couple of things (the kettle didn’t turn itself off after it boiled, there was no hot water coming out of the sink tap), bed was comfortable, location was good.

Totally good , and service is excellent

100% recommend this place! The staff is simply amazing and kind. The guy at the reception which we assume to be the manager was so helpful and accommodating. The room was nice and we liked the new decoration ! Please do yourself a favor and come stay at this place. Also loved the private parking, helped us to sleep better knowing our car is secured.
