Iolida Corfu

Amazing experience! The hotel is brand new with a great design! Very clean with a variety of facilities, we enjoyed the gym, pool and basketball court. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We will be coming back in August! Totally recommend it!

Room was standard, outdated in appearance and aircon didn’t work, food in restaurant was predictable and flavourless but the staff were very helpful and friendly. Bar options were very poor compared to other all inclusives I’ve been to, a Malibu and coke was €6 and not included, the coke on tap was not proper coke (sounds petty but the taste difference is real) not a lot of options other than house spirits. Barman didn’t know how to make a vodka, lemon and lime(???) snack bar had fry cake and two options of a sweaty sandwhich or wilted salad. On to the pros- entertainment was on for 3 nights out of 7 on our stay and really good for early season, reception was very helpful with any questions we had about the area and hotel

No way does this hotel deserve 4star rating. It may have been OK in the 70's but hasn't moved on. The reception area was totally bare apart from four seats at the far back, nowhere for anyone to sit while awaiting transport. Food was terrible, very limited choice, chips everyday, which were thin sliced so dry as chips, as the saying goes. Desert every meal was jelly and/or icecream . We were there 11 nights and entertainment was only on for three of those. No atmosphere in bar area which was down 6 steps, as was the dining room on the opposite side. Toilets were only available down 3 flights of stairs, about 27 steps.the pool also was accessed by about 20 steps. The hotel itself was in an elevated position accessed by a very steep driveway from the road. Facilities very poor, no daytime activities. Pool area had broken slabs and pool itself needed repairs around top, tiles missing.In all quite shabby looking, one good point there were enough sunbeds and umbrellas for all . Apparently it is due for closure with plans to upgrade it to a 5 star. Good luck with that. Will certainly never return or reccommend this hotel to anyone.

we stayed in this hotel in May 2023. we did not expect it to be the most luxurious hotel, especially because the price was quite good with all inclusive. this included local drinks (not of the best quality but they could be consumed) and good but not very diverse food and snacks. we also ignored the bad smell from the area where we were staying and many other irregularities until we realized that from the wallet left in the hotel room (in the backpack that was in the dresser because the safe was broken and broken) someone stole 100 euros. this is something horrible. they gave us a room with an exit to the garden and the maid always leaves the door to the garden open after cleaning, and anyone could enter there, even someone who is not staying at the hotel, because there is an alley almost to the street, and there is no guard at the entrance. but, we are sure that it was someone from the hotel since they didn't steal other objects, and they didn't steal all the money, but only two 50E bills and left 175E in the wallet. of course no one recognized and they asked me to prove that I had that money, which is impossible to achieve. who has any proof of how much money he has in his wallet? it's absurd! after this incident I checked other reviews on other sites and it seems that we are not the only ones in this situation and the theft from the rooms in this hotel is an older problem. shame on them!

Terrible food and dirty as a train station. It's a shame for people to sell such trips. main pool dirty, green algae and bugs. the sunbeds so dirty. stench in the room from the kitchen. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. 12 hours of waiting for the return bus.of course they chased us out of the room.

This hotel is the worst place l have ever stayed in, it's claming to be a 🌟🌟🌟🌟 hotel,they false advertise about facilities & more ! Most of the staff l met were rude & simply didn't want to be there,from the chambermaids shouting to each other in the hallway from early hours,to my noisy neighbour's both sides,I harder slept at all.the pool was dirty,there are lots of steps everywere to climb & descend plus the step hill to walk up to the hotel, not good for elderly people or prams ! The food was bland & tasteless,the beer was small cups of chep greek beer,my mountain view room was a joke,there were ants everywere in the room & there was NO FITNESS CENTRE, again avoid this hotel,it will ruin your vacation..(pictures attached) VERY DISAPOINTED EXPERIENCE...

After reading the reviews, I didn't know what to expect but I was impressed with the hotel. Booking direct on the hotel for under 900 euros for 2 people for a week, we defo got what we paid for. Yes the food is a little basic, but if you're expecting 5* quality, you obviously pay big money for it. Good location, hard working staff and a laid back vibe around the hotel. Ignore the negative reviews, and make the trip.

After reading a few reviews on this hotel I was dreading it I thought I had made a terrible mistake HOW WRONG WAS I The hotel is cleaned regular, the food is great with a good selection of Greek and international dishes with plenty of choice various juices,fizzy drinks,lager and wine are self service at breakfast,lunch and dinner Poolside bar open from 10 till 6 then indoor bar opens .entertainment so far has being good pool is cleaned every day and finally the staff are polite and helpful

The hotel is very dated that said our room and all the communal areas were spotless. I am aware a number of other guests were not happy with their rooms and asked to change. Ours was a top floor seaview with balcony and was fine. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was ok. Not a huge amount of choice but no reason to go hungry. Beer and wine available with lunch and dinner as well as soft drinks juices and water. Cocktails available form the bar. Pool bar was ok but only small cup’s available and the snacks were cake or sandwiches on the whole. Evening entertainment was on only 3 occasions in days and no daytime activities. The pool was smaller than it looks in the pictures and the steps in and out were quite rickety. There are concrete steps at one end but these were often crowded as people tended to congregate there as the rest of the pool was too deep to standup in. There are a lot of steps in the hotel and it is up a step driveway so this would be difficult for some. It is easy walking distance of beach/bars/shops and a very easy bus journey into Corfu town or Ipsos. Dassia itself was ok for a week. Lots of places to eat and drink and smallish supermarkets. The beach was disappointing. Small narrow ***** mostly shingle. We took a days boat trip with bbq which we enjoyed very much. The one we used as recommended by the hotel also picked us up and dropped us off afterwards. Overall an enjoyable week of downtime. But would he unlikely to return.
