Datong Onetwo Hotel（Datong ancient city Daiwangfu shop）

Friendly service, and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious, and I'd definitely stay here again!

First off, if you're visiting Datong, exploring the ancient city is a must, and staying within its walls is undoubtedly the best choice. Of course, we overlooked and underestimated the sheer number of people during the National Day holiday, but I have to say, this guesthouse was absolutely superb. The facilities were well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and the environment was elegant, giving it a homey feel. Plus, the front desk attendant was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, providing us with excellent recommendations for local attractions.

We stayed in the family suite, and the kids absolutely loved the hotel with the stairs. Although the guesthouse isn't large, it's very cozy and charming. The slippers and disposable towels provided were of good quality. There's also a small courtyard where you can relax and enjoy coffee. Breakfast isn't served on-site, but it's convenient to drive to a nearby location, and the breakfast itself was delicious.

The location is excellent, convenient for getting anywhere. It's a well-designed and cozy B&B. Overall, I loved it~

We booked a standard twin room and a family room with a slide. The rooms were very clean, and the area was quiet. It's about a twenty-minute walk from the city center, and you can rent electric scooters right outside (though they are a bit pricey). There are Sam's Club and Hema Mini stores nearby, as well as a 24-hour self-service shop. The only annoyance was that none of the drinks were cold. We loved the small courtyard; it had a nice atmosphere, and the kids spent a long time watching the fish. The front desk staff was very gentle and polite, and they even offered handcrafted coffee. The bed was super comfortable. We'll definitely book here again next time.

I was so surprised and delighted to find that the Wantu Hotel is located right in a modern ancient town! ❤️ I already love staying in places with a historical atmosphere like ancient towns and cities, so finding out the hotel was in one immediately earned it bonus points! Even though it's in an ancient town, the hotel's design isn't traditional or old-fashioned. Instead, it's modern and minimalist with a touch of elegance, and the decor is very tasteful. It felt comfortable and high-quality to stay in. The front desk staff deserve the most praise – their service was absolutely outstanding! 👍 Not only were they warm and friendly, but they also thoughtfully recommended great places to eat, have fun, and explore nearby. After checking out, I realized I'd left something in the fridge. I contacted the hotel, and they immediately helped me find it and handle the situation. I'm truly grateful! The location is also very convenient, right near Daiwangfu, making it super easy to explore the ancient town. My only regret is that we only stayed one night! 😂 We had to leave before we could fully enjoy it. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay for several nights! I'll also recommend it to friends! ❤️
