This hotel is not so far from touristic destinations. You can either take a walk or just order a taxi to go any place in Datong in short. The hotel service was good, people are very kind and friendly.

This was one of the only options left when I arrived in Datong so I booked it because the reviews were good. However, actually its the worst hotel I've stayed at in China in three months. The shared bathroom/toilet were particularly bad (with no hot water). Definitely not worth the price I paid. Also no windows in the room, but thin walls, so noise from other guests.

Located next to one of the train stations. There wasn’t any cleaning done during the stay. No water bottles were provided in the room during any of the days. The WiFi didn’t work. There was no sense of time and having a relaxing stay. Workers began loudly stacking boxes in the hallway after 10:00 at night and talking in the hallway which can be easily heard in the room making it an annoying disturbance when trying to sleep. Then, there was drilling and hammering that began around 8:00 in the morning and continued throughout the day which did not allow for sleep. Then another time random people, maybe workers, came into the room around 9:00 in the morning without permission. There was no way to get any peaceful rest there and no way to connect to the internet. A really poor experience and low understanding of customer service overall.

Good location, friendly staff, the room itself was very clean, only toilets would require a bit more of cleaning

I found it was exactly what I expected for the price, but my girlfriend felt uncomfortable with the people and the staff. Didn't have that experience and neither did she anywhere else, so maybe not that suitable for female solo-Travellers

Amaizing place, near train station, personal very helpful and friendly. Very recommended
