The location is great, right in the city center. You can walk to nearby attractions. The building is old, but the service is good. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby, which is convenient. The room is spacious and even has a bathtub.

We regularly stay at the Royal Mandaya Hotel when we go to Davao. The location is clean, the facilities are good, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is always excellent.

My family had a great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely come back.

The hotel is already a bit outdated & old. But rooms are ok, big enough for groups. Have pool & very nice breakfast.

The hotel was Ok, but we had to change room due to TV and WiFi didn’t work. And we found 1 cockroach in the room, and the main elevator was out of service.

Very Disappointing Stay We booked Royal Mandaya last minute to relax after a spa day, but the stay was a disaster. The aircon wasn’t working and we found a cockroach in the bathroom. I reported the issue at 7:20 AM, yet the front desk took almost an hour to respond, and only after I complained again. I’m especially disappointed because I convinced my husband to stay here based on past experiences, but the service has seriously declined. I won’t return and do not recommend this hotel. Just check-out December 30, 2025

Everything was smooth and perfect. Booked a room 11th-hour due to a close friends wedding and they were extremely hospitable! Clean room, lots of products to use, and safe access using keycards. My only issue is that the wifi goes in and out, which crazy enough, cuts off while in the room and mostly available at ground floor and my other issue is that the breakfast buffet involved becomes moot by 8am. They informed us it goes from 6am-10am but We arrived at 830am and almost everything is gone. You just got to help yourself with the egg omelette maker. Place was clean, check in and check out was smooth, and they take tap pay which makes everything convenient. Congrats to the newly weds CharI and Alfi!

We stayed for 2 days with no WiFi, no TV signal, and the air conditioner was leaking. We've called for a technician several times already. We called the Front desk officer to assist us, but they just told us there was no signal. It wasn't very pleasant since we did not enjoy what we paid for comfort and access to the internet. I hope that with this review, they will work on how to attend to their customers' concerns.

Nice hotel, accessible location at downtown area, old but clean room.

The staffs were nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is really good. And the location is also an advantage, there are many establishment nearby.

Very nice old hotel located in downtown near people's park and the nightlife markett . Big rooms and comfortable beds, only complaint is the low quality pillows. Very hard to sleeping. Other than that, definitely worth the price

Older hotel but facilities are good. Nice big bed. Got a bigger bed than advertised so it's a plus.
