Namei Mountain House

During my trip to the southwest Guangxi loop, I spent a lot of time agonizing over which B&B to choose in Mingshi while planning. I finally settled on this one and was quite impressed upon checking in. My whole family loved this B&B, highly recommend it! We chose the 270° room type, of which there are only three – one on each floor from the 4th to the 6th – which perfectly suited our need for three rooms. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and bright. Lying on the bed and gazing at the view allowed my mind to completely relax – it was perfect for unwinding. All the facilities in the room were also well-maintained. The bedding was especially comfortable, and it was quiet at night, so I slept very well. The staff at the B&B were all very helpful.

This guesthouse completely changed my family's impression of B&Bs. It was exceptionally clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The only minor issue was the number of insects drawn to the lights at night, which is typical for a rural setting. Otherwise, everything was fantastic. This is likely the best value for money in the area. The parking spaces are very spacious, so parking is a breeze.

I really loved this guesthouse. First off, the location is right on the main road, so it's lively with plenty of restaurants nearby, which made me feel very safe. I booked a balcony room, which I loved, and the views and fresh air were fantastic! The breakfast restaurant also had unbeatable views.

Traveling with seniors and kids, this hotel is very new and the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. They can even call the Ming Shi Yuan scenic electric car directly to the hotel entrance for pick-up. The sightseeing car stops at every photo-op spot, waiting for us to get off and take pictures, and then drops us back at the hotel. This was super convenient for the seniors who have difficulty walking. There are many restaurants within 100 meters of the hotel. We were in a hurry, so we ordered dumplings from the hotel before checking out, and they even delivered them to our room. Breakfast is 20 yuan per person, and the fried rice noodles were delicious.

The environment is great, and the service is top-notch. The owner and staff are very welcoming. The room is clean and odor-free, and the view outside the window is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

This guesthouse has a good location, right on Ming Shi Tian Yuan Street. You can see the views from both the front and back of the property. The room is clean and tidy, and the bedding is comfortable. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation.

The hotel is less than a kilometer from the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area ticket office, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The room amenities are thoughtfully prepared. The hotel staff are all very friendly, and there's complimentary tea and bottled water available in the lobby on the first floor for self-service. There are many restaurants nearby to choose from. The breakfast was pretty good. It's located by the road, so there's some car noise (but not many cars at night, so it's fine then). The soundproofing in the rooms could be improved; kids in the hallway started making noise before 7 AM.

This guesthouse was quite clean and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. It would be even better if I could get a room with a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the back mountains next time!
