LUX* Chongzuo, Guangxi

I recently stayed at the Lux* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort for 2 nights with my family. We booked three one-bedroom deluxe suites, and they were incredibly spacious and comfortable! Every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were spotless, tidy, and very cozy. Our butler, Doris, was especially attentive and helpful! She assisted us with arranging transportation and making dining reservations. Since we were traveling with elderly family members, Doris thoughtfully arranged for our rooms to be next to each other and specifically chose rooms without steps to make it easier for them to get around. It was incredibly kind and considerate. The panoramic windows in the rooms offered stunning views of the karst peaks, which our elders thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant food also catered well to their tastes. With its tranquil scenery and meticulous service, Lux* Chongzuo Guangxi Resort is truly a top choice for a family getaway; it completely washed away all the weariness of everyday life!

The room was spacious and comfortable, with great amenities. The bedding was especially nice, and the view was absolutely stunning, truly like living in a painting! 🤭 The only minor drawback was that the Chinese restaurant felt a bit small. It was too crowded and chaotic during dinner. Perhaps they could consider adding another restaurant?

Loved it, definitely worth every penny. The views are beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Eating at the hotel for three days straight didn't get boring at all. Other than the inconvenient transportation, I honestly can't find any other faults. Also, a huge shout-out to their wine list – the champagne selection is amazing! There's a particular grower champagne that was absolutely fantastic. As a serious champagne lover, this was an unexpected find, and the markup wasn't even that much – truly great value for money. Go try it, it's absolutely worth it. Next time, if I get the chance, it would be even better to go without the kids. One more very important thing: the spa's techniques are absolutely phenomenal. As someone who gets a spa treatment every week, I can confidently say the pressure and methods are top-notch. I still find myself thinking about it even after getting a spa at my usual spot back home.

Our family's Guangxi road trip started with Guilin's scenic landscapes, and during the summer holiday, we took the kids to the Luxe Chongzuo Mingshi. This resort is surrounded by the Mingshi pastoral karst peaks, and the panoramic room views are absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and clean. Doris thoughtfully prepared children's bathrobes and toiletries beforehand. The resort offers a kids' club, an infinity pool, countryside cycling, and a farm where you can feed small animals. The kids had so much fun every day they didn't want to go back to the room. Before our check-in, Doris proactively communicated with us about our family's needs for the trip, gave us a detailed explanation of the hotel's special activities, and was always responsive to any small requests, making sure everything was taken care of.

Facilities: The hotel seems to have been built in 2020, so it's quite new. All facilities are smart, including a Bluetooth speaker, coffee machine, mini-bar, private hot spring bath, and smart toilet. Hygiene: I found a 'letter from a gecko' in the room, and sure enough, I saw a gecko! Although it looks scary, it's afraid of humans, so just ignore it. The staff replenished the mini-bar and daily necessities every day, and the room was cleaned very well with turndown service. Environment: The public areas are beautiful, nestled by mountains and water. You can enjoy the outdoor scenery right from your bed. Other public areas are also cozy and clean. The lobby is absolutely stunning, and they even offered three complimentary travel photoshoots. Service: Staff members were friendly and greeted me everywhere I went; they're clearly well-trained. A day before arrival, a butler added me on WeChat to send hotel activities and arrange things. They delivered evening desserts daily, provided sunrise/sunset times and free activity schedules for the next day, and the shuttle bus notifications were always on time. They were responsive to all my questions and thoughtfully provided mosquito repellent – very good. My butler was named Jolly~

Just checked out of Lux* Secret Beach and my experience was absolutely perfect! I stayed in two different room types: a one-bedroom deluxe suite with amazing views, and a riverside pool villa with a private courtyard and secluded pool – maximum privacy! Watching the sunset over the river from the courtyard in the evening was just magical. The hotel offers a fantastic range of activities. We did crafts, went cycling, and spent a whole day by the infinity pool – you don't even need to leave the resort! Doris was incredibly attentive, explaining the room types and activities in detail before we checked in. She was super quick to respond to our booking requests and resolved any issues we had right away. We've already planned our next visit!

This hotel is truly breathtaking, easily one of the top 100 most beautiful hotels in the world. The design seamlessly blends into the natural landscape, a truly immersive experience. As the only LUX* Resorts & Hotels property in Asia, every detail exudes luxury, yet it remains incredibly comfortable. From the stunning views and excellent service to the fantastic dining and comfortable bedding, everything was absolutely perfect. After a refreshing swim in our room's karst landscape pool, we enjoyed the large hot tub with complimentary white wine and tropical fruits, chatting and laughing with my beloved family – it was pure bliss! The hotel's reception, lobby, and main pool are all popular photo spots. A special highlight is the hotel's dedicated afternoon tea viewing room at Detian Transnational Waterfall, offering unparalleled views. Enjoying exquisite afternoon tea in an air-conditioned room while gazing at the waterfall on a hot summer day was incredibly relaxing. The hotel's photography service is also excellent and definitely worth trying. A big thank you to our butler, Doris, for her constant assistance and invaluable help throughout our stay! Overall, my family and I were extremely satisfied. Five stars!

Finally made it to Lux Resorts & Hotels Chongzuo with my bestie! This entire resort is tucked away amidst the stunning landscapes of Mingshi. We almost didn't want to check out! The log cabin-style rooms, complete with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowed us to enjoy the layered mountain peaks while soaking in the tub or lounging in bed. Every photo we took was a beautiful, healing shot! A special shout-out to our butler, Doris, for her meticulous arrangements before our arrival. Everything was perfectly organized, from the turndown service with sweet soup to the complimentary mini-bar and the full range of thoughtful amenities – every detail showed such care. It was the perfect getaway with my girlfriend, and I've already recommended it to all my friends!

The kids' club is a lifesaver for parents, and the rooms feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows plus private hot springs on the balcony. The toiletries are incredibly high quality. Our butler, Pelina, even added us on WeChat before check-in to understand our needs and thoughtfully prepared kids' bathrobes and amenities – such excellent service!
