Yingxue Hotel

1. I've stayed here a few times, and the elevators are always broken – they never seem to get fixed. 2. The breakfast is terrible. There's only one hot dish: stir-fried cabbage. Besides that, it's just congee, steamed buns, and pickles. It's basically like a farmhouse style, miles away from what they advertise. 3. The bedside light control panel stays lit all night, which really affects sleep. The power outlets are also difficult to use, with poor contact. 4. The mattress is far worse than even a Hanting hotel. 5. Don't book a twin room; they share a connecting balcony with the neighboring room.

Beyond its good location, this hotel has absolutely nothing going for it. The room smelled bad, the soundproofing was terrible, and the breakfast was truly awful. There's no Wi-Fi in the lobby, and the elevator was broken. I do not recommend this place.

Terrible experience! 1. The facilities are very average, with wallpaper bubbling everywhere. 2. If you find something wrong and don't report it before checkout, they'll just say you broke it – truly bizarre. 3. And here's something even stranger: bringing children to breakfast costs extra, and the price varies daily! The worst part is they don't tell you this at check-in. In the morning, they just ask you to scan a code for payment. I overheard several parents saying how odd this was.

The environment here is fantastic, especially for escaping the summer heat. It was 38 degrees Celsius at the base of the mountain, but only 24 degrees at the top. The Yingxue Hotel is supposedly a four-star standard, and having a bathtub was a nice touch. However, the service was truly terrible. When I asked the front desk for hot water, they just bluntly said, "No, go back and boil it yourself." On Saturday, the hotel was fully booked, and the elevator was out of service. They claimed the inspection certificate had expired and the new one hadn't arrived yet, which felt like typical state-owned enterprise bureaucracy. Absolutely infuriating!!! The 50% discount on the Sun & Moon Platform two-person scenic cable car was a good deal though.

Yingxue Hotel has been renovated, and the rooms are much more comfortable than before, even with a bathtub! However, the elevator was out of order, which made carrying luggage quite inconvenient. I hope it's fixed by my next visit. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel is located in the plaza, which is very convenient.

Seriously, this trip was so worth it! The hotel offers great value for money and is located right by Yingxue Square, just a dozen meters from the Riyueping cable car. It's quiet at night, and surprisingly not as damp as I expected – I slept like a baby! Especially the temperature during the hot summer was incredible; two layers of clothing were almost too much. It was cool, the air was fresh, and the scenery was lovely. I'm really puzzled why summer is considered off-season. The only minor downside was the food, but I understand why. All in all, everything else was perfect.

The room overlooked the lake, offering a nice view from the balcony. However, both elevators were under maintenance during our stay, and our room was on the fourth floor, which was inconvenient for the elderly. But the Trip.com staff handled the situation very satisfactorily, so a big thumbs up to Trip.com! 👍👍 The breakfast selection was very limited, possibly due to it being off-season and a Monday, so guests should lower their expectations for breakfast. On a side note, Xiling Snow Mountain is definitely worth a visit in the summer.

On May 31st, my daughter and I made a last-minute decision to visit Xiling Snow Mountain, and the first thing we did was book this hotel. **Location:** The hotel is halfway up the mountain, very close to Yingyue Square, and it's the first hotel in the hotel area. **Cleanliness:** The room was quite tidy, and the bedding was soft. The ink-wash painting on the accent wall was very artistic. The bathroom had a separate shower and a bathtub. **Dining:** We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast area the next morning was cozily set up, offering side dishes, main courses, and rice noodles. **Service:** The front desk staff were friendly and even provided thoughtful reminders about hotel policies when we checked in. **Highlight:** The night view was the most pleasant surprise. When the hotel lights up, it looks exceptionally warm nestled in the mountains. **Overall:** A great experience, perfect for a relaxing getaway to Xiling Snow Mountain.

1: When I pulled back the covers, they were dirty. I called the front desk to ask for a new blanket, and their attitude was unhelpful. The cleaning lady who brought the new blanket said, 'This is normal, it won't wash out,' which was just ridiculous. 2: The breakfast was awful, with almost no options. The only vegetarian dish to go with the congee took forever to arrive, even after asking for it multiple times. The person collecting breakfast tickets was also extremely rude. My experience was terrible; I will never go back.
