Herbert Samuel Hod Dead Sea Hotel

Very Disappointing – Far Below the Standard Expected from Herbert Samuel We booked a two-night birthday getaway, but after just one night, we decided to leave. The hotel was poorly maintained and dirty: damaged floors and corridors, stained carpets, a room in very poor condition, mold and rust in the shower, stained towels, and sticky floors. The balcony and dining room were also dirty and unpleasant. For nearly NIS 2,500 per night, we expected a completely different standard, especially from a Herbert Samuel hotel. Unfortunately, instead of a relaxing and enjoyable birthday getaway, we had a very disappointing experience – so much so that we gave up our second night and left the hotel early.

Very good service, cousin and location, was treated professionally with medical massage by Svetlana at the Spa

Mattress, too soft, fallen in. Pillows too hard. At meals, fruit uneatable, or absent. When we complaines, they brought a plate of fruit to the room. But nothing changed, of course, in the thinking of the administration. Everything too sweet, soup, cereals, or sauces, no chance for a diabetic. Which is strange as half the guests were pensionnaires. At the bar in the lobby they gave me the salad which had been there in tbe vitrine since the day before and was frozen to the core. When asked they changed it for a freshly made, but.... They also served tbe leftover stale bread , when asked to toast it they brought it back slightly warmed up but no less stale. ..

Best spa in the Dead Sea! Thank you Luba and Yulia! Amazing service.

Everyrhing was good, fresh breakfast, ans helpful staff. Highly recommended

Delightful break. Spa was wonderful and the location on the edges of the dead sea was remarkable. Great facilities to walk down to the sea, bathe and well serviced with towels, showers and everything. Clean and spacious room with beautiful balcony overlooking the grounds and the dead sea. Good dinner and breakfast. We had a wonderful stay. Wanted to use the bikes but they were not available. Everything else was delightful

Excellent service from the staff

Staff a bit antisocial and not very friendly. The room and amenities are great.
