Thikana Delhi ( Boutique B&B)

We stayed at Thikana Delhi for a full week and very much enjoyed our stay there. Owners and staff are very kind, always ready to lend a book about Delhi or help out with laundry or booking trains. Although Thikana Delhi is located close to a relatively busy street, our room was very quiet, and there are beautiful common areas. We also particularly liked that the breakfast table (mind you, breakfast comes at an additional price) is shared by all guests, making for interesting and insightful conversations.

What a fantastic place to stay, A beautiful guesthouse in the leafy calm of South Delhi. The hosts at Thikana are so accomodating, they will help you with advice and tips for your days and can assist you in organising a driver for your stay if you give advance warning. I could not recommend any higher - feels like a home away from home

An impromptu decision to stay here after my service apartment booking fell through and was very glad for it. Thikana offers the best of b&b stays_ beautifully done up house, great breakfast (providing a regional speciality each day ***** with the standard offerings is a great touch), chance conversations with other travelers around the table. Sheetal and Atul are warm hospitable and great at looking after the guests. Glad to have discovered this place.

Lovely family service, professional. Lovely breakfast. Excellent location, central to the East Delhi region. Comfortable and spacious room. Nice lounge areas and rooftop.

Thikana is a wonderful place to stay, hosts are so accomodating, rooms are large, modern and kept spotless. The food is delicious. Great location, South Delhi is a peaceful little oasis in the big city. If you ask with enough advance warning Thikana can help arrange you a driver for your stay - very trustworthy and very reasonable prices.

My wife and I arrived at 9am but Atul allowed us to get our rooms at once. Thikana is a home away from home. Excellent system with Rohit coordinating, Chofu and Raj multitasking perfectly. The room was super comfortable, the sitting and dining rooms are aesthetic and cozy. Guests having access to the Gulmohar Club is an immense asset. Or you can have a home cooked dinner. The breakfasts are a treat both culinarily and the wonderful people you meet. It’s both vibrant and calming. The staff respond to, even anticipate your every need, reflecting the hosts’ personalities. Atul is practical, down to earth; Sheetal is genteel, caring, and classy. When she learnt my wife has Gastro issues, she provided her with lunch from their home. If there’s such a thing as a 7* hotel, then is a 7 * home! You miss it as soon as you leave. In the US right now, I miss the culture and atmosphere of Thikana!

A homey atmosphere with a great breakfast. Towels need to be upgraded as they were very coarse and perhaps old.
