Too much fees

Front desk staff seemed to be annoyed by guests checking in- very abrupt and seemingly bothered by the exchange. Called 4x over 2 days before they actually had iron & ironing board delivered.

I loved all the detail in the hallways, all the wooden features just very Zen like absolutely gorgeous

The property was very pretty, and the room was spacious. The location was pretty central in terms of all the shops and bars. However, there a few things to note. The service at the front desk was great, but at hotel bar, cafe, and pool and it was practically nonexistent. When there was service, the employees seemed bothered by your asking for help (again, everywhere but front desk). One last note, we found a brown stain on our comforter. It looked like a residual blood stain. Besides those few things, the hotel was clean with great amenities and a central location. 4/5 stars imo.

Nice hotel in a good location. Comfortable rooms. Thought the housekeeping staff were pretty lapse. Never refilled our coffees each day so had to keep phoning down to get replaced and also did not top up toilet paper etc - not what you expect of a hotel of this calibre. Overnight parking was pretty expensive too.

I come to The Ray at least one to two times a year. It feels like my second home.
