Magnolia Hotel Denver, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in this price range. The internet connection was terrible. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were completely incompetent; I had already paid the deposit during check-in that afternoon, but since no room was available at the time, they demanded I pay the deposit *again* when I returned in the evening. They threatened to have security forcibly remove me if I refused, without even bothering to investigate the issue themselves—showing them my bank payment records was useless. Since it was late and I didn't want the hassle of arguing, I just paid the deposit again to get a room. It wasn't until the next morning that I realized they had booked two rooms for me—no wonder they wanted two deposits. Even more absurdly, when I tried to be helpful and point out the extra booking, they actually asked me to pay the room rate for that second room as well! It was completely ridiculous. I also ran into another guest who had been assigned a room that was already occupied; suffice it to say, this place is one to avoid.

beautiful city view with two large windows, superb location and friendly staffs. I love the fruit  flavoured water they provided.  But there's a lot of ash on bedside tables. And very loud alarm from police  car and ambulance in the midnight woke me up several times.

We stayed here for just the evening. We walked to the baseball game and back. It was a quick stay and did not spend much time in our room. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, the check in was smooth and easy. I was able to get signed up for the Marriott membership.

I paid for a Classic Large with a King and was given a small room with a queen. Also, there was not one drawer in the entire room to store clothing or other items. There was an open cubby space in the closet. When I questioned the staff about the bed, they explained that all rooms only have queen sized beds. I walked by a room that clearly had a king size bed. Overall, it was a nice room, but I would rather have storage for my clothes rather than a desk that never gets used..

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is really pretty and well maintained. The location is great with tons of shopping and restaurants all around.

Spotless, very nice tub, and lovely amenities. Staff was wonderful! Will be staying here again.
