The aesthetics were nice and the room appeared clean and neat BUT the bed mattress springs were worn out and made me feel like I would roll off the mattress while the middle of the mattress formed a ridge between me and my wife, the sheets were itchy (so it took us hours to get to sleep), on top of that—two of the curtains could not fully block out bright lights from the street, the coffee machine in the room malfunctioned causing water to run down the table near our belongings, the toilet ran all night, when I called room service for more coffee pods for our room they had to put us on hold to determine if it was their role to replenish them, when room service returned on the line they said it was not their role and for me to call the front desk, when I called the front desk it went to voicemail, so I called housekeeping and they brought some coffee, when I gave feedback to two of the managers in person at the main desk, one of them said they would have maintenance come fix the coffee machine once we had left (which was fine-didn’t want anymore coffee and we were nearing time to check out which I had discussed with the managers) but minutes after I returned to the room the maintenance man arrived to fix the coffee machine. The room advertised on ******* at $391 for 1 night but after all fees added on the price was $594 for this very less than subpar experience. This was after a mgr. Said he would comp our “check out fee. No idea how the hotel has such high ratings…
