Fansu Hotel (Deqin Fog Thick)

Absolutely amazing! You *have* to book a room with a terrace! You can see the snowy mountains right from your balcony! The staff even gave us a better-positioned room when they found out it was our honeymoon, which was incredibly thoughtful and fantastic value for money. They're also super pet-friendly! We'll definitely stay here again next time!!!!

Facilities: The elevator was really convenient! Service: The service was superb! They helped me carry my luggage to the room as soon as I arrived, which almost made me embarrassed, haha. They even gave me a huge bag of Wahaha water (because I brought my dog, and she drinks a lot of water). I was so touched by how pet-friendly they are! Environment: From the balcony of my room, I could even capture a photo of the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' (Rizhao Jinshan). So lucky! 🍀

FanSu Hotel was my favorite hotel during my trip to Yunnan. First, the location is unbeatable, with panoramic views of the Thirteen Peaks, making every photo picture-perfect. The 5th-floor rooftop terrace offers a stunning 180-degree unobstructed view, so there's no need to even bother with the Wunongding viewing platform. Second, the hotel staff are incredibly dedicated and responsive to every request, with a level of service that surpasses many hotels in first-tier cities. Third, and this is a major highlight, you can witness an incredible starry sky right from your bed – it's truly breathtaking. Just remember to bring binoculars! Fourth, their food is also delicious. The secret recipe braised yak beef hotpot, stir-fried pork, and yak beef and millet chili fried rice were all excellent. The restaurant on the first floor also boasts an unbeatable view. Dining with such a view is truly impressive. To sum it up, I'll definitely be back! All the pictures below were taken at the hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the Wunongding Observation Deck (at the White Pagoda). I arrived from the ancient city by Deqing Transportation Bus, and the hotel offers a pick-up service from the Deqin Tunnel entrance, which was very convenient. The last photo shows the view from a side room (202), facing Mount Kawagebo, offering great value for money. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise over the golden mountains from the hotel's 5th-floor rooftop, which is very convenient, and the hotel also has an elevator. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money in Wunongding.

This is a great value-for-money option at Mount Gongga. It has underfloor heating and oxygen supply. I got to see the 'golden mountains in the sun' from the top floor. After that, breakfast was provided. The service was also very friendly, and there was a butler service.

The room was spacious and clean, with a direct view of Meili Snow Mountain. You could even see the 'Sunlight on Golden Mountain' phenomenon right from the room. The hotel also has an observation deck, and the facilities are comprehensive.
