Honestly, I've never loved a hotel this much. The overall design style is simply beautiful; I adore it. Every little corner is a picturesque spot. Walking into the room felt just like coming home. The underfloor heating was at my perfect temperature, the bed had just the right firmness I prefer, the B&O speakers delivered my favorite sound, and the view outside the window was absolutely perfect. Room Design: The room's design details, like the hidden lighting and the thoughtful placement of mirrors at the vanity and for makeup, are ideal for female travelers. The balcony and sofa are both incredibly comfortable, and the provided shawls and bathrobes are so soft and cozy, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Service Details: Although the butler wasn't super responsive before check-in, and there were two minor issues, the hotel's solutions were very satisfying. All requests after check-in were handled promptly. My favorite touch, of course, was the goodnight dessert – on the plateau, a little extra sweetness is always a good thing. Plus, the complimentary travel photography and drone shots were a nice bonus. Finally, we even received a lovely farewell gift upon departure. Dining: The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was generally small, beautiful, and satisfactory. Dinner was similar – not mind-blowing, but perfectly acceptable. Overall, I genuinely love this hotel. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the stars are stunning. I'd definitely want to come back again.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! The staff were all very welcoming and the service was excellent. The location is superb; we even got to see the 'golden mountains bathed in sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan). The 'nico travel photography' offered by the hotel was fantastic – the photos turned out so well I just had to buy them to share with my friends. Highly recommend it to everyone!

🏔️Meili Podu | 24 Hours of Healing with Snow-capped Mountains, ******* Incense, and Afternoon Tea in Wunongding ✨ I'd heard for a while that Meili Podu was the 'must-visit' hotel pinnacle. I'd stayed at Tengchong Podu before and found it rather ordinary, but this time I finally decided to go for the Meili route. The 4-hour drive from Shangri-La wasn't short, but the moment we arrived in Wunongding – it was totally worth it! 🤍 🌄 Environment We stayed in the White Pagoda Room. Although it didn't face directly onto the main peak of Kawagebo, the window view was still tranquil and therapeutic. Wunongding is quiet with few people. In the morning, drinking hot tea on the balcony and watching the clouds drift among the mountains brought such peace to my mind. 🍰 Snow Mountain View Afternoon Tea for Two I never expected to find such photo-worthy and delicious afternoon tea at such a high altitude! The pastries were exquisite, and the coffee was surprisingly good. Just staring at the snow-capped mountains, taking photos, and sipping tea – it was the ideal vacation scene! 📸 🛌 Room Experience The complimentary snacks and drinks in the minibar were plentiful. They even thoughtfully provided a large cloth bag, fearing we couldn't carry everything. The room was warm and clean, and bathing while enjoying the mountain view was absolutely divine. In the evening, we immersed ourselves in making ******* incense and painting Thangkas, truly experiencing ******* culture. Time here became soft and precious. 💁 Service with Full Attention to Detail Upon entering, we were presented with a Hada (ceremonial scarf) and welcome tea. The service throughout was warm yet restrained. When we checked out, the front desk gave us a prayer wheel and handmade soap. Leaving with such blessings, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being a guest at a friend's home for two days. If you're also looking for a quiet place with stunning views, culture, and thoughtful details to heal your soul, Meili Podu is worth the detour. #MeiliPodu

This hotel is absolutely top-notch, arguably the best in Marunong Top. The facilities are excellent, the service is spot on, and the food is delicious. They also offer a variety of activities, so you'll never get bored. However, I wouldn't recommend booking the room type I stayed in – the view wasn't great, and there's a hotel under construction right next door. The room itself was long and narrow, which wasn't very convenient.

The location is unbeatable, offering incredibly easy access to stunning mountain views. The hotel boasts numerous vantage points to admire the snow-capped peaks from various angles. The design is truly excellent, with beautiful common areas. Breakfast was just average. The service, for the price point, was also quite mediocre; I'd even say there wasn't much service at all. It certainly didn't compare to the Shangri-La Shambala where I stayed the night before. The cleaning staff, however, were very friendly and enthusiastic. There aren't many activities offered by the hotel either. For such a high price, I would expect more experiential activities to be arranged on-site. The afternoon tea, though, was fantastic! Both the tea itself and the staff were the most satisfying aspects of this stay.

The hotel's location, facilities, and service are all excellent! The Wunongding viewing platform is right outside, and the restaurant offers a direct view of Meili Snow Mountain! I'll definitely recommend this place to any friends visiting Meili in the future!
