Once Upon a Time in Meili

Five-star rating (considering the price and location). **Ambiance:** Absolutely prime location directly opposite the viewing platform. It's a prime spot for admiring the scenery (though light pollution affects moon and star gazing), and also for grabbing some skewers and cultural souvenirs. The pickup point is just a ten-minute walk away. **Cleanliness:** Spotless and very clean. The room came with a telescope, which was fantastic for viewing the snowy mountains – truly beautiful, thank you so much! The coffee and black tea at the bar were from excellent brands, really showing the owner's sincerity. The owner provided tripods which, after a quick chat, I was able to borrow. This was a huge help for photographing the moonlit silver mountains and the golden glow of the sun on the peaks. My only minor complaint is that some parts of the tripods were damaged or rusted, affecting their performance, likely from being left outdoors for self-service. Keeping them indoors or maintaining them more regularly might help. The owner is the author of a book, which was available in the room. Unfortunately, I was short on time and couldn't read it, but I hope to have the chance to next time!

This hotel is perfectly situated on the first row of Feilai Temple's observation deck, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Upon check-in, the front desk staff proactively informed us of the exact time and best viewing spots for the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon the following morning. The room itself was excellent, with a direct, stunning view of Meili Snow Mountain right from the balcony. Thoughtful amenities like nuts, ginger tea, and milk were provided, along with heating, an oxygen machine, and a humidifier, ensuring a warm and comfortable night's sleep. The next morning, we watched the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' from the hotel's terrace, followed by a delicious Western-style breakfast. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and a very satisfying stay experience. Highly recommended!
