The public area's direct view of the snow-capped mountains is already unparalleled. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff's service is incredibly thoughtful. On the first day, because we took the Ice Lake route and arrived quite late, they even messaged and called us, concerned about potential dangers on the night road and asking if we needed help. Every day before we left, they would ask about our route and prepare necessary supplies (e.g., Pocari Sweat/Snickers/nuts for squirrels), as well as medicine, masks, dental floss, and so on. Because we had to leave the village early in the morning, they even helped us with urgent laundry and prepared breakfast. All the amenities are reusable, and the owner must be an experienced outdoor enthusiast, truly practicing environmental protection. This is exactly the kind of place hikers like us should stay. We are so lucky to have met Yu Shan in Yubeng.

11861249****I've stayed in many high-end hotels, but this one truly stands out as the most worthwhile experience. The complimentary glucose, the evaporative humidifier (rather than ultrasonic), the motion-sensor lights upon entering, and even the lights leading up to the rooftop all showcase the owner's meticulous attention to detail and genuine care. The scenery and indoor photos are exactly as depicted, with no misleading 'photo trickery.' This is undoubtedly a place I'd return to and highly recommend to friends. A huge thank you to the owner, I look forward to my next stay!

Aawan27From the moment I planned this trip, I had a feeling it would be a very special New Year's Eve, but I never imagined it would be so wonderful and perfect. I saw the snow-capped mountains, exceptionally white after a fresh snowfall, the mountains glowing in the night under a silver moon, and on the first day of 2026, the mountains gradually turning red with the sunrise and then shimmering with golden light. Every form of the snow-capped mountains was just breathtaking. But beyond the mountains, what made this trip so wonderful was every cup of ginger tea brought to us, the documentaries screened each evening, the names and origins of each star in the night sky, the New Year's Eve fireworks, the butter lamps we made, every photo taken for us, and the waiting, pick-up, and companionship from our arrival to our departure. A huge thank you to every member of the Jixia Mountain team for taking such great care of us. These two days were incredibly memorable and blissful. I will definitely be back again in the future.

MMeeeyahThis was, without a doubt, my favorite hotel during this trip. They called the day before to confirm, and someone even came out to greet me upon arrival.
The hotel's hygiene, heating, and oxygen supply were all excellent, and my room directly faced the snow-capped mountains. The 5th-floor observation deck offered fantastic photo opportunities.
The butler service was top-notch; questions in the group chat were answered almost immediately.
And the highlight for me, my absolute favorite, was the Cloud Bistro cafe and bar on the 5th floor. It was incredibly professional, the drinks were superb, and the two ladies working there were just wonderful. I had such a delightful evening there. Around 7 PM, they set off fireworks, and at 9 PM, they showed a movie. Everyone gathered around the fireplace in a room with floor-to-ceiling windows – it was just incredibly cozy and enjoyable.
When I returned to my room, a complimentary sweet soup had already been placed outside my door.
Jingang and Tudou (the dogs) were super well-behaved. I even ran into them out for a walk at the Feilai Temple observation deck in the morning, haha.
If I ever come back to Meili, I will definitely stay at Waking Up to Snow Mountains again!

GGuest UserI arrived at Bodu on the first day of the ***** New Year, the Year of the Fire Horse, to enjoy a natural immersion from the depths of the snowy mountains and experience a breathtaking 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' – everything was so delightful! Bodu's service starts the moment you pull into the parking lot. The staff are incredibly attentive to your needs, meticulously rushing over to help with your luggage or even bending down a small tree branch so you can tie on a prayer plaque. The hotel also offers a rich variety of activities, such as New Year's blessings, blessings from a Living Buddha, and firework displays. All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience.

Upon check-in, the front desk staff proactively informed us of the exact time and best viewing spots for the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' phenomenon the following morning. The room itself was excellent, with a direct, stunning view of Meili Snow Mountain right from the balcony. Thoughtful amenities like nuts, ginger tea, and milk were provided, along with heating, an oxygen machine, and a humidifier, ensuring a warm and comfortable night's sleep. The next morning, we watched the 'Golden Mountain in the Sun' from the hotel's terrace, followed by a delicious Western-style breakfast. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and a very satisfying stay experience. Highly recommended!

ZZhixiao-The room was fantastic, with a balcony directly overlooking the snow-capped mountains. They thoughtfully provided two foot bath tubs. We were quite tired upon arrival at the village, and soaking our feet completely refreshed us, making us ready to head straight to the glacial lake the very next day – what a thoughtful touch! The chicken soup noodles were delicious, and the packed lunch they provided for our journey was great too. The resident cat was adorable!

KKeluosidexiaobaixieI had a wonderful trip! The Misty Peak was not crowded and very peaceful. The Fancome Hotel offered great value for money. I could even watch the sunrise illuminate the golden peaks right from the hotel's rooftop in the mornings. The weather was fantastic for two consecutive days, so I got to see it both times.
The hotel provided shuttle service to and from the tunnel entrance when arriving and departing by bus, which was excellent service. The yak hotpot at the restaurant was very generous in portion, and the barley cake was delicious.
Overall, I was extremely happy and highly recommend it!

AAnonymous UserThey say you might not see the ”Golden Mountain in the Sun” in October, so I booked this place to avoid wasting money on a view that might not deliver. Turns out, we actually saw it! Super worth it!! The location is right next to where the bus drops you off, so it's a very easy walk, and close to the Feilai Temple viewing platform. The room was unbelievably spacious, and the underfloor heating worked perfectly. There are only four or five rooms, and the view is absolutely stunning. The owner is very simple and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this for anyone hoping to catch the Golden Mountain but worried about a wasted 4-hour drive if they miss it. The accommodation quality is easily more than triple that of other scenic hotels at the same price point, and the courtyard itself can help ease any disappointment if you don't see the sunrise.
Let's talk about the downsides:
1. Feilai Temple is currently under construction, so there are large vehicles at night. I personally wasn't bothered by the noise, but I can't guarantee others wouldn't be. This seems to be a common issue for hotels along this road.
2. The room was very clean and tidy, but I wasn't a fan of the air freshener scent. My partner didn't notice it, though.
3. There were some really large flies. I hope the owner can improve pest control. Although they'll probably freeze to death in a few days, seeing them definitely puts a damper on the mood.

MM508560****The hotel is super close to the observation deck, about a 3-minute walk away. What really stood out was how incredibly clean and cozy the room was. You could tell the hotel owner had turned on the underfloor heating beforehand because it was wonderfully warm when I walked in. The disposable toiletries were also really comprehensive and high-end, especially the toothbrush. It's rare for a hotel to even provide mouthwash! The oxygen supply equipment was also excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, this hotel is definitely worth recommending – it's fantastic!

You can see the golden mountain in the sun from the room, especially the terrace on the third floor which is particularly photogenic against the backdrop of the Meili Snow Mountain. The hotel service is also in place and is worth recommending.
