Elephant & Moon Resort, Mogan Mountains

The environment here is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are so comfortable. There are tons of activities to do. We had a minor hiccup during one of the experience activities, but we're incredibly grateful to Xiaoyue for her attentive and meticulous care from check-in to check-out. We dined at the Chinese restaurant in the evening. It might have been a weekend, so it was quite busy, and we had to wait a bit for a table, but the food was pretty good. After dinner, we successfully joined the bonfire party and marshmallow roasting activity, which was a nice addition to the rich array of activities. It's truly commendable how hard the shuttle drivers work, going back and forth multiple times in the summer heat, but their service quality is absolutely top-notch. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect for a relaxing family getaway with kids! We booked a French loft last minute – a cabin downstairs with a tent upstairs. The room itself was a bit small, but the overall experience was great. The resort valley is lush with greenery and fresh air, and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun, keeping the kids entertained for hours. Xiaoyue from online support was always quick to respond, and the shuttle driver provided excellent service throughout. There was also a lively bonfire party on the weekend, which was fun and really enhanced the experience. We'll definitely come back specifically to try the unique standalone log cabins next time!

This is my first review on Trip.com, and the Xiangyue Lake Hotel truly captured my heart. The beautiful environment is incredibly relaxing, and since we stayed in the bamboo forest on the mountain, the shuttle service was always available on demand. The entire experience was very thoughtful. I'd love to come back with friends if I get the chance.

Towards the end of the summer vacation, we took our child for a forest cabin getaway. The resort is expansive with beautiful surroundings. There's a great selection of Chinese and Western restaurants, along with various recreational facilities. We tried the package's water bikes, traditional fan DIY, met some cute animals, and enjoyed the outdoor playground and pool, which were perfect for letting the kids burn off some energy. Cycling through the forest was incredibly relaxing. The cabin accommodation had good amenities like showers and air conditioning. We used mosquito repellent indoors and remembered to spray ourselves when going outside. Despite occasional showers, our family trip was still full of joy.

This hotel has excellent facilities. The Chinese restaurant serves delicious food, and the Western restaurant offers a wide variety of breakfast options – pretty much everything you'd expect, though perhaps not noodles or wontons. The Western breakfast is definitely more on the Western side. Near the Western restaurant, there's a swimming pool that's not too deep, perfect for kids to play in and also very photogenic. Below that, there's a sandbox and swings, great for toddlers. I heard they built a new jungle adventure course this year, haha, but we didn't try it because my child is too young. The stream trekking was fun; we even caught some small fish, but that was a summer activity and isn't available anymore. Xiao Yue mentioned that chestnuts will be in season around September/October, and we can pick them then. My child is really looking forward to it, and we've already booked for October. Traveling during a typhoon, Xiao Yue (the hotel/staff) was still great; they informed us before our trip that it would rain and to be careful on the road. Because we couldn't enjoy the water activities due to the rain, the hotel was very considerate and extended the indoor facilities' hours until 8 PM that night, and the kids' play area until 9:30 PM. Their emergency response was excellent. The only minor issue was that the kids' play area was leaking a bit while we were playing~ The room was very clean, and the surrounding scenery was lovely. Overall, the stay was quite human-centered. Even though it rained, the hotel felt very warm. When checking out, they drove us directly to the parking lot, which was incredibly convenient. We didn't have to go back to the front desk to return the key card or walk up and down in the rain. I really commend their service!

I brought my kids here for the summer holidays. The room wasn't quite my style, but the service attitude was truly excellent. During my stay, the door lock wouldn't open, and I contacted Xiaoyue who immediately arranged for an engineer to fix it. I also encountered a small issue at one of the activities, and the on-site staff didn't know how to handle it. Again, Xiaoyue promptly stepped in and resolved it. These 5 stars are for Xiaoyue; she seems to be the resort's service ambassador, as she's the go-to person for most problems. Whether it was arranging a shuttle or getting items sent to the room, she handled everything perfectly. Sometimes her WeChat replies were a bit slow, and I actually considered complaining, haha, but then I saw at the front desk that Xiaoyue *was* the front desk! She was also checking guests in, so no wonder her replies were slow. After chatting for a bit, I realized how hard she works, having to attend to other guests too. Thumbs up for such great service! The room hygiene was also pretty good; it's hard to avoid some outdoor elements.

The environment is super natural and peaceful, and it's very quiet for sleeping. The independent cabins are clean and hygienic. The shuttle service is also very responsive. My kids absolutely loved it. The tour guide is right in the lobby, you can follow it directly.

The environment is great, and the facilities are quite comprehensive, perfect for families with kids to relax and unwind. The wooden cabins are quite unique. Encountering heavy rain while boating was also a special experience. However, many details were not well-executed. The bicycles for rent were broken (though they compensated with amusement park tickets). Some shuttle bus drivers were distracted, looking at their phones while driving, and one even dropped us off at the wrong room midway. When checking out, the car wheels got stuck in the mud. I hope they strengthen staff training, prioritize safety, and improve service details.
