A Millet Resort Hotel Moganshan Scenic

The overall design is great, and the actual room is pretty much exactly like the photos they showed. The environment and hygiene look good. We paid an extra 480 to upgrade to a forest villa family room, which shares a living room with two other rooms. When no one else was around, it was nice to sit on the living room sofa and enjoy the view outside. There's no elevator, but the staff helped with our luggage. The breakfast was pretty standard. They only provided breakfast for three adults, and we had to give a five-star review to get breakfast for our two kids. Honestly, that left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I've stayed at so many family hotels and never had to trade a good review for a four-year-old's breakfast. The pool water was very cold, but that's to be expected since it's in the mountains. The location is good, very close to the transfer station. Overall, I felt the price was a bit high. It doesn't seem to be aimed at families, and I wonder if the investors are rushing to recoup costs, especially considering that even five-star hotels in downtown Shanghai are only around 2000+.

I rarely write reviews, but my stay this time was absolutely terrible and definitely not worth the 2200 price tag per night. It was even worse than a regular Atour hotel. 1. **Pet Policy Ignored:** The booking clearly stated no pets allowed, yet there were guests with dogs on-site. We complained to the front desk, but the hotel didn't intervene. Instead, they allowed the dogs to roam freely in public areas, which is extremely unaccommodating for people with allergies. 2. **Dreadful Sleep Experience:** The bedding quality was questionable; it was stuffy and unbreathable the first night, making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the soundproofing was abysmal. The staircase design created a serious echo effect, so we could hear every noise from next door and the hallway. We could also distinctly smell cigarette smoke from people smoking in the stairwell outside our room. 3. **Poorly Designed Facilities:** In our twin room, the shower stall didn't even have a hook to hang bathrobes or clothes. There was also no sliding door to separate the bathroom from the living area – the design details were completely unthoughtful. 4. **Subpar Housekeeping and Service:** Used bathrobes and cups were not cleaned promptly, indicating obvious laziness from the housekeeping staff. 5. **Lackluster Breakfast:** The so-called buffet breakfast consisted almost entirely of common pre-packaged foods found in supermarkets, nowhere near the standard of a star-rated hotel. The 2200 RMB room rate is severely overpriced (almost Hyatt prices). At this price point, I would not recommend it; the value for money is extremely low.

The room was spacious and clean, located right in the heart of the business district, not far from any of the attractions. Breakfast was a set meal with noodles and wontons, though the noodles were just okay. There's no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage ourselves. A male butler was very enthusiastic and reminded us to bring our general admission tickets.

This is an amazing getaway for a weekend breath of fresh air near Hangzhou. My only complaint is the limited dining options available around Moganshan scenic area. Luckily, there's a kitchen, so I might bring my own ingredients next time. This is truly a hidden gem of a resort!

This hotel is perfectly situated within the scenic area, very close to the transfer station, making it incredibly convenient to visit all the attractions. In the evening, there's a fantastic light show at the transfer station, which is a great bonus! The rooms are spacious and bright, and the hygiene is excellent. You need to provide your car plate number in advance if you're taking a taxi to the hotel. The front desk staff member was very enthusiastic, helped us with our luggage, and provided information about the surrounding area. The breakfast is a set menu with a good balance of meat and vegetables, and a rich variety of options! This hotel is highly recommended! If I visit Moganshan again, I would definitely book this hotel again.

It's convenient to take photos of the scenic area, and the hotel's hygiene is pretty good. I like the hotel's style and design, and the service is also quite good. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. The local farm-to-table restaurants nearby are convenient, making it very suitable for middle-aged and elderly guests. The downsides are that the lighting is a bit dim, and the desk design could be more user-friendly. It would be great to have screens on the windows so we could enjoy more fresh mountain air.
