Travelodge Derby Pride Park

Apart from the rude awakening of the fire alarm going off at 6.45am everything was excellent, comfortable, clean and in a good location for amenities.

Perfect for staying overnight after watching Sarah Millican at Derby Arena. Less than a 10 min walk. So relieved we stayed there after seeing the traffic queues to and from the arena. 2 min walk to Frankie & Benny’s for food. Excellent friendly service from everyone we met on reception. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Lovely and clean and modern. Decent price for rooms and parking. Would definitely recommend it.

We had such a good experience staying here. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Darren who has just started there. We were greeted every day and the staff took a genuine interest in our visit. The room was perfect for our family and was very clean and had everything we needed. The food was amazing! And the breakfast was continuously stocked up. We would definitely stay here again. Such a lovely atmosphere. The price for 3 nights was the cheapest we had found and was such good value for money. Such a lovely quiet hotel and despite being next to a busy road the traffic noise was minimal.

Location is close to some fast food places and across the road from a Costco which is super useful. Atmosphere is pleasant with a nice air conditioned restaurant downstairs to chill if you want or get some food, I managed to get some work done on my laptop here with lots of easy access electrical sockets. Rooms are nice, clean, spacious, comfortable and well sound proofed. Value is good for what it is, other hotels nearby charge premium rates which can be significantly higher given the location and approximation to Derby stadium but this is definitely good value for money. Noise level was zero, never had any issues at all, slept like a log. Service was absolutely fantastic and the stand out. Big shout out to the team there, I’ve travelled and stayed in many hotels across the world, and can hand on heart say that the customer service I received in the pride park Derby Travelodge was literally world class. Friendly, and helpful, I never once had any issues and all of my needs were met swiftly with no issues. Shout out goes to the manager in particular, apologies not sure of her name but the blonde lady, who was very friendly and made my stay memorable thanks to her friendly presence and taking the time out to talk. Highly recommended, stayed before, would stay again no issues.

I only stayed one night here after meeting friends in Derby. My room was lovely and clean. I walked in the room and it was lovely and warm. Two windows that opened if it's to warm. It was comfortable the blackout curtains was a bonus in the morning. I'm a big coffee drinker and I had no problems getting more for the room. Unfortunately some guests decided too kick off around 03:00 it was delt with, without too much hassle. But being in a city and a Friday night back up did take a while. In the morning Theresa was so lovely and couldn't apologise enough for the disturbance. This is something the hotel couldn't avoid, they have a very good policy on not serving anyone who they believe has just enough and very politely say no more alcohol this evening. But they can't control people who have been out or bring there own alcohol. On saying that I did leave tired, but I will definitely use this hotel again. It's been updated since my last stay to a good standard. Again the staff did a good job and I felt safe. Thank you for making me welcome. Emma

What a lovely experience at this hotel. Absolutely brilliant staff, warm, welcoming, professional and very well organised. Nothing is too much trouble and staff go above and beyond to assist you. Beds are super comfortable and the cleanliness and hygiene is brilliant too. The food is great with a fab selection for vegetarians, as well as gluten free and dairy free options and restaurant staff are always very attentive and accommodating. Parking is really easy and local amenities are close. The reception area is air conditioned and always plays really lovely calming music and just has a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Thankyou Teresa, Tig and team for making our stay easy, enjoyable and fun,

Lovely Hotel, Friendly staff, Nice welcoming vibes. Food was lovely. Bed was comfortable, rooms clean, and fresh. Great value for money. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Overall, the hotel fell short in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort. Between the unpleasant odors, lack of basic amenities, poor housekeeping, and stained towels, the experience was disappointing and not one I would choose to repeat.
