WwangjipengThis B&B is located in a quiet village on a small hill, offering peaceful nights. The 87 bus stop is right outside (make sure to get off at Shang Manjuelong Station, not Shuiledong Station as Google Maps might suggest, otherwise you'll face stairs). The facilities are great; the underfloor heating was still quite effective even in late March. The service was warm and friendly. The only downside is that dinner service ends a bit too early.

2233479****Staying at the Anantara Qiandao Lake for three days and two nights completely spoiled me! From the welcome drink upon arrival to the reluctance to leave, every detail was captivating, and I just have to give it a thorough praise~ 🌟 Butler David - Top-tier Service I absolutely have to give a shout-out to our butler, David! He proactively contacted us before check-in to understand our itinerary and preferences. He was all smiles even when we arrived close to 11 PM! He also provided us with numerous travel guides and helped book a hotel photoshoot. This kind of attention to detail, going above and beyond expectations, truly made us feel cared for like friends. 🌿 Environment - Living in a Landscape Painting The hotel occupies an entire peninsula, offering excellent privacy. Each room is a private villa with an extra-large terrace, so you wake up to stunning lake and mountain views. My favorite part was taking deep breaths on the balcony in the morning, surrounded by lush greenery and the fresh scent of the lake – it was instantly therapeutic! For those who love taking photos, don't miss the lakeside infinity pool; every shot turns out amazing. 🍹 Special Drinks - A Delightful Taste Experience In the evening, you can go to the Starlight Cinema for drinks. The complimentary special drinks were made with quality ingredients, not just some perfunctory sweet cocktail. The welcome fruits were also seasonal. I couldn't help but ask for purchasing channels and ended up buying a lot from a roadside stall when leaving the hotel~ 🚐 Shuttle Service - The Only Area for Improvement The hotel is quite large, so you need a shuttle to get around. During peak hours in the daytime (especially 10 AM-11 AM / 5 PM-6 PM), you might occasionally wait 5-8 minutes, but it's completely understandable – after all, it's built into the mountain. I recommend going out during off-peak times, or like us, take some photos at the lobby bar while waiting for the shuttle; time flies by quickly~ When we left, David even personally drove the shuttle to see us off. This feeling of being truly cared for is what defines a genuinely luxurious vacation experience. I've already recommended it to my best friend, and I'll definitely be back for a second visit to Qiandao Lake!

GGuest UserPros: Jojo, our butler, provided excellent service, and the travel photography was great – the photographer was very dedicated. Cons: 1. Breakfast options were limited, and items were frequently missing. The coffee machine was terrible, producing a watery, tasteless drink. 2. The paid activities, especially the boat tour and farm visit, were very poor quality. An older staff member had a bad attitude and kept rushing us, saying other guests were waiting. Including the walk to the vegetable garden, we only spent about 15 minutes picking. For the boat tour, we had to insist just to get a short drift on the lake; initially, they claimed it was too windy to paddle. It was a really frustrating experience. Overall, apart from the butler, the service from other staff members was very mediocre. I've also seen complaints on social media about their lacking 'soft services.' I'd suggest they learn from Naked Group; I've visited Naked Castle and Naked Retreats several times, and their complimentary services are consistently high-quality, with exceptionally enthusiastic staff.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Every corner, from the lobby to the guest rooms, felt so thoughtfully designed, like staying in an art gallery. The room was clean and comfortable, with great attention to detail; the bedding and toiletries were top-notch. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find food. What impressed me most was the service – the front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates art and quality!

HHekaizhiThis garden-style hotel, much like West Lake itself, boasts a rich history. The staff are well-trained, polite, and enthusiastic in their service. I won't dwell on the positives, but rather focus on areas for improvement, hoping for an even better experience. 1. **Layout:** The single-story layout means rooms are quite a distance from the front desk. After a long day out, already tired, it feels like an endless walk back. 2. **Guest Segregation:** As a resort hotel, I suggest a better separation between business and leisure guests. I was enjoying tea by West Lake, and all I could hear were loud discussions about IPOs and investments, full of self-promotion – utterly boring! It completely ruined a perfectly good afternoon tea. It was such a mood killer! 3. **Noise & Smoke from Business Guests:** Meeting guests were playing cards (Guan Dan) in their rooms with their doors wide open, smoking, filling the entire hallway with smoke. There's a small balcony outside the rooms; couldn't they play cards there? The hotel should consider the experience of leisure guests, otherwise, it doesn't live up to its national reputation and 3000+ RMB room rate. 4. **Breakfast Disappointment:** Breakfast ends at 10 AM. We arrived at 9:30 AM, and there were still many people in the restaurant. I wanted orange juice but was told it was out. Then I asked for milk, and that was gone too. I looked around the dining area; there were at least forty or fifty adults and children still eating. I was speechless, not knowing what to say. 5. **Bathroom Amenities:** The shower gel in the room seemed to be L'Occitane, but the font was so small that it was impossible to read once wet. The shampoo and shower gel looked identical, making it hard to distinguish, so I accidentally used shower gel as shampoo several times. Overall, the hotel's quality is evident. The Chinese restaurant, tea house, room service, breakfast, front desk, and concierge are all good. Especially the manager of the Chinese restaurant – he's kind and friendly, even coming to the breakfast restaurant the next day to greet us, which was very professional. In short, West Lake State Guest House is good, and I hope it continues to improve! Oh, and that West Lake Fish in Vinegar Sauce – to make carp taste that good, that truly shows skill.

MM432833****We were so disappointed! 👎 Having stayed at over twenty 5-star hotels in the past two years, this was by far the worst. 1. 💡 The facilities are incredibly old and often broken. For example, the vanity mirror was shattered, and the desk lamp flickered on and off. 2. 🛀 You have to wait at least a minute for hot water when showering, which is a very long time, wastes water, and is especially bad given how cold it is in winter. 3. 🛜 The Wi-Fi is terrible; videos constantly buffer. 4. 🏠 The bathroom floor has obvious, old stains that are absolutely disgusting 🤢. 5. 🍳 Breakfast was bad. The fried dough sticks (youtiao) were pre-made, the baozi had thick skins and little filling, the 'thumb-sized' pan-fried buns were greasy with hardly any meat, and the 'freshly squeezed' soy milk was clearly made from powder. The beef noodles and egg pancakes were okay, though. 6. For the DIY craft experience, there was only enough for one person per room, which was incredibly awkward for a couple. What's even more puzzling is that the cheapest room costs 2500 RMB?? 👍 On the positive side, the staff were enthusiastic, there was a golf cart shuttle service, and they helped with luggage. The public areas were beautiful, and the intangible cultural heritage aspects were interesting.

GGuest UserThis hotel is right next to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, so traffic can be a bit congested in the mornings. You also can't drive directly to the hotel entrance. On check-in day, it was pouring rain, and I was quite flustered dragging two kids and a luggage cart. The front desk is on the fourth floor, and the check-in process was seamless. The room facilities are complete, with smart controls throughout. The deluxe twin room has two 1.5-meter beds, which is enough for a family of four. The mini-bar is free, and bottled water is provided. There's a gym and self-service laundry on the 5th floor. The breakfast area isn't large, but the variety is quite good. The noodles were delicious, but the fried rice and fried noodles were just okay. They have a delivery robot that brings food directly to your room, which is quite convenient. There was a minor issue with the housekeeping during my stay, but the hotel took it seriously and handled it proactively. I hope this doesn't happen again next time.

LLielielielieMy stay here was a truly delightful surprise! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I experienced incredibly attentive service. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, and they thoughtfully informed me about breakfast times and hotel facilities. The room was more spacious and brighter than I expected, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a practical design, and there was plenty of hot water. I particularly want to commend the soundproofing in the room; it was very quiet, completely undisturbed by outside noise. The hotel's location is also excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. This will definitely be my top choice the next time I visit this city! A big thumbs up to your team!

MM291609****The room is fully equipped with underfloor heating and central air conditioning. The hotel service is excellent: there's a shuttle bus from outside the scenic area to the hotel, the front desk upgraded us to a garden view room, and they deliver a generous amount of fruit daily – so much that we couldn't finish it. It's the most fruit I've ever received at a hotel, bar none. The hotel's cleaning is very thorough; after the room is cleaned, there's a dedicated person who comes to inspect it. Breakfast is semi-buffet, with some items needing to be ordered, and it's very refined and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, just a ten-minute walk from Lingyin Temple and a five-minute walk from the North Peak Cable Car. It's perfect for daily visits to the scenic area (reservations required, of course). If you can't get a reservation, you can also hike North Peak or visit Faxi Temple, Fajing Temple, and Fajing Temple, or explore the surrounding area on foot. I'll definitely stay at Jiulisong again on my next vacation to Hangzhou.

GGuest UserIf you're coming to Hangzhou, you absolutely have to stay at the Conrad! This time, I specifically chose a river-view room, and it definitely didn't disappoint. From the 50th-floor 'cloud' perspective, you get a panoramic view of the magnificent Qiantang River and the dazzling 'Big Golden Ball.' Especially at sunset, the entire city is bathed in a golden glow – every photo turns out stunning! The hotel itself is part of the twin towers, and the design is incredibly stylish. Just this view alone makes it worth every penny. Jodie and Irene were both very polite and responsive, quickly addressing any needs I had. The location is also convenient for getting around.
