Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Azabu Tokyo

The hotel's location is very convenient. It's just across a crosswalk from Azabu-Juban Station, making it easy to get to Ginza, Shinjuku, and Asakusa. All are within 5 stops, about a 20-minute subway ride. The room is relatively spacious for a city hotel, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, which is great. There's a washing machine in the room, a washer-dryer combo, which is incredibly convenient! We spent the first few days in Atami, and the last two in central Tokyo, so it was perfect to be able to wash our clothes at the hotel – super handy! Each room also has a balcony with a view of Tokyo Tower 🗼

The supermarket and subway station are both within walking distance, so I personally think the location is excellent for daily living. The room also had everything I needed, and even more. Plus, the front desk staff made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. For a living experience, I think it's perfectly adequate, but if you're a tourist, you might have a different opinion, as the hotel is a bit far from most attractions and crowded areas.

The hotel was clean, and having a cafe and convenience store downstairs was super convenient and great! The location might be a bit tricky to get to from Narita Airport by train, but it was excellent for traveling to tourist spots like Shibuya, Ginza, and Roppongi from the hotel. If I go again, I'd definitely use this hotel again. There was also a fridge, kitchen, and washing machine, which I made good use of! (Side note: The washer and dryer are combined, and the dryer makes a really loud noise, so I recommend running it in the morning before you head out.)

The front desk staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent, courteous service. The room was also clean, and perhaps because it's a new building, it felt very fresh. The location was great too, within easy reach of everywhere. There's even a drugstore nearby. I'd love to stay here again next time I visit Tokyo. Thank you very much.

Location: Situated in the upscale Azabu-juban neighborhood, it's a pleasant five to six-minute walk from the subway station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and you can even take a stroll to Roppongi and Tokyo Tower, passing many embassies along the way. Room: The room isn't huge but features a balcony, bathtub, shower, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave oven, and all the necessary cookware and dishes. It's incredibly convenient to wash clothes before heading out and return to them dry and wrinkle-free. This was a huge plus. The bedside charging outlets are plentiful, and the Bluetooth speaker even offers wireless charging. The TV has options like YouTube and Netflix. Service: The front desk staff speak excellent English and are very efficient. Registered members receive a complimentary breakfast set, which tastes great. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you can get a 500 JPY voucher to use at the convenience store. However, you can still request fresh towels, trash bag replacement, and water refills. Cons: While most rooms offer a view of Tokyo Tower, the fresh air vent is located right above the bed, making it extremely noisy. Light sleepers will find this very disruptive.

The staff were friendly and professional; I felt well-cared for from check-in to check-out. Restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets are all within walking distance, making daily life incredibly convenient. The overall environment was clean and comfortable, allowing for a rare moment of relaxation during a busy Tokyo trip. It's a hotel that offers a great blend of quality, convenience, and a homely feel, highly recommended for travelers who enjoy a slower pace.
