The hotel is beautiful, some parts are a little damaged, but in general it is very good, a lot of variety of food, drinks, the beach area is very well organized, the waiters come by all the time for drinks, the restaurant on the The beach is also very good, but the best of all is the people, all of them very, very friendly, warm, attentive, respectful, collaborate at all times… it's fine for Olan familiar…. The food may not very fresh especially seafood. My husband got up 3 times in one night vomiting and diarrhea. He had 2 days didn’t eat anything. We reported it and no any resort manager said anything to him. 6 of our 18 people group had stomach issues and didn’t eat anything at least one day. The staff weren’t friendly. They just wanted tips. The tennis and pickleball guy talked to us with very poor face at the first 2 days and got a better after we complained and tip him. I changed towels by myself from Saturday to Monday after 4:00pm because nobody did room service before 4:00pm. This was my 2nd time there and also the last time. You didn’t feel you were welcome to come back.

Everyone was very friendly at Majestic Colonial. We stayed in the Club section but the family section would have been just as good- except we wouldnt have had access to the Club Lounge, which we did use quite often. The facility is clean and well kept but we did notice a few minor things in need of repair. Overall, the food, rooms, service, pool, and beach were excellent and we would love to go back again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beach was beautiful, the numerous and large pools were nice, some of the restaurants were good (The Rodeo Grill and Taína), the grounds were pretty, the shows were fun, the drinks were good, and most of the bartenders and waitstaff were nice and attentive. We enjoyed the ****** as well. The buffet wasn’t good, but about the same as another all-inclusive I’ve been to. Ate lunch at Le Gourmet once, and it also wasn’t good. The rooms are quite outdated and weren’t completely clean, but they were fine. The mattress was comfortable; pillows weren’t that great. There were some staff that were rude, but it seemed more that they just didn’t want to be at work versus anything personal. I would definitely consider staying here again if going to the Dominican Republic again.

This resort is amazing. All the staff was helpful and friendly. The food was great. Beach was nice. We had the best time here for our vacation and will definitely return in the future.
