This resort was incredible and my trip to the Maldives was the best week of my life!! I went during the last week of September and first part of October so there were some rainy and cloudy days but plenty of sunshine and calm days as well. When I was stuck inside because of the rain, they sent us hot chocolate and popcorn to our room to have a movie day. When I got a sunburn, they delivered fresh aloe Vera from their garden. They think of everything!! All of the staff were so kind and accommodating. Zulal was our main server for breakfast and dinner and always had the best recommendations and was so kind and helpful! Our butler Anas was amazing and replied to us in minutes for every question and request we had. Managers and staff came by our tables at every meal to check if our stay was going well. The food was incredible, the activities were amazing, overwater villa was private and perfect, room was extremely clean and beautiful, the island was so well kept. I will definitely be back here and can’t recommend it enough!!!

Our stay at COMO Maalifushi was absolutely spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in luxury and warmth. The team truly made our experience unforgettable—each person we encountered was incredibly kind and attentive, just as my mom described: "People are the Gem on this Island." The culinary experience was one of the highlights of our trip not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The massages at COMO Shambhala were truly heavenly. My sister found great enjoyment in all the Play by COMO activities. Additionally, we had a wonderful time engaging in water sports, going on a Dolphin Cruise, and discovering the stunning house reef encircling the island. We had our amazing photoshoot that will cherish forever. A heartfelt thank you to all the team members who took care of us with such dedication and professionalism. Your hospitality made our time here so special. Thank you for a truly magical stay at COMO Maalifushi!

To start with, it is worth mentioning that the resort experience starts at Male airport. Their immigration/airport staff are friendlier than other places. They really value their tourist sector. The transit is well managed with a new seaplane / lounge area which is as good as anywhere complementing the 5* resort experience. You are greeted at the airport by a resort representative who guides you (and looks after all your luggage). On the island, service across the board was incredible. Not obtrusive but always attentive. We travelled with a 11y, 3y and 9m old. Our appointed butler, Anas, was so responsive, from inflating floaties, golf-buggying us around, providing info on food/activities and a daily morning hello over breakfast - requests were effectively met within minutes of a WhatsApp request! Restaurant staff were similarly attentive without being overbearing (we were a l carte for lunch/dinner). Had a long conversation with the Food and Beverage manager who was individually impressive - knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Food was generally good with the TAI restaurant, in particular, the Omakase menu proving exceptional (effectively fine dining). There are lots of food options available for children too. Moving on to the property/rooms, we were offered an upgrade (water villa) at the outset which we did not take based on personal preferences. The villas are very generous, we were accommodated with 2 additional single beds and a cot. Very comfortable and clean - serviced 2+ times per day as desired. We did have half a day of bad weather but were efficiently provided with info on alternative activities with popcorn and hot chocolate on free room service. To top it off, we kayak’d to a very nearby undeveloped island with fishes galore - a variety of water activities are included free as standard. And finally, we used more than our fair share of towels because they were unusually fluffy. Thank you for the our incredible stay.

My family, including two children stayed at COMO Maalifushi last week, where villas were spacious, far surpassing any other hotel accommodations we’ve experienced, and provided the perfect setting for a luxurious and comfortable getaway. The staff at the resort were exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure our happiness. A special mention to Zayan, our butler, who made our stay unforgettable, from the moment he welcomed us with refreshing drinks to packing our luggage for departure. Zayan created a home-like comfort zone for us, organized a surprise birthday party for my sister, everything was beyond expectation, omotenashi was present. The F&B team also stood out with their warmth and attentiveness. They greeted us by name, and we found ourselves looking forward to visiting the restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic, and crafted to be both tasty and healthy. My family appreciated the thoughtfulness and creativity behind each dish. This resort is a gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and authentic Maldivian hospitality. This resort is a must-visit for anyone looking to create memories in a truly idyllic setting. We stayed at Como Maalifushi in early April, as a family of three in a water villa. From the moment we stepped in to the arrival hall at Male airport, to the moment we were seen through the departure security back at the airport, this holiday was perfect in every way. This will be a short review as our experience of everything was the same - amazing. Rooms - the water villas are huge, beautifully appointed, and to have steps down to the reef and your own infinity pool is an unrivalled luxury. Food - we ate at both Madi and Tai on about an equal amount of occasions. The food is consistently excellent and really enjoyed indulging in the many forms of locally caught fish. Options for kids are great, and the staff are delightful. If I had one slight quibble, the optional dinner buffet available on some seemed felt a little lacking in value. We stuck to the a la carte menus as there was so many amazing options to work through. Being half-board we only had breakfast and dinner each day, which was absolutely plenty for us. The Island - just beautiful, paradise. Well kept grounds, an excellent house reef, complimented by stylish but low key architecture. Finally, the kids club was great - kind and welcoming staff with many scheduled activities, or happy to welcome unscheduled arrivals for a short change of scenery (or if Mum and Dad have popped off diving). Speaking of which, the dive shop is great, and we were superbly looked after on a well appointed dive boat. The diving was excellent. This was the best holiday we’ve ever been on. Spacious water villa with a good size private pool. Friendly, warm & helpful staff. Good food with fresh ingredients. Amazing Como bath products and signature Como Shambala massage. The only downside was the state of the villa - in need of update/renovation esp private pool area (nails sticking out and paint faded in a number of places). As much as we love the size of the water villa, we are unlikely to return unless major update takes place.

I’ve stayed a week at Como Maalifushi with my wife and my 2 daughters of 10 and 8 years old. Both the main island, where the resort is, and the Lhavaddoo island, where one can organize activities, are just stunning! The service and the staff are extraordinary, especially our personal butler Ranaa who took care of us for all the duration of our holiday. Finally the food is top quality from the breakfast to the dinner in both restaurants Madi and Tai (Japanese restaurant)

Had a fantastic stay at Como Maalifushi, the epitome of quiet luxury. Amazing, thoughtful service throughout. The entire staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived, and knew everyone’s names in our traveling party. The service was never overly done, but rather in a kind, friendly, familial yet professional manner. The F&B team was truly outstanding, especially manager Maria and Chef Gambir. They truly took care of us, nothing was impossible; anticipated our every need and met every request that we had, exceeding our expectations. The Chef even took time out before dinner on several occasions to teach our kids to make sushi, which they loved! The super friendly wait staff at every restaurant acknowledged us from the very first visit and remembered our drink preferences after one day. And that’s not to mention the delicious food from Breakfast through Dinner. The Marine Center staff were top notch, with on-site Marine Biologist to teach guests about local marine life. The instructors and crew that took us snorkeling, and scuba diving couldn’t be more friendly, helpful and patient. Play by Como was great, with tons of engaging daily activities and friendly staff to entertain children. Tons of water activities, with easy on-site snorkeling in the house reef where we saw lots of marine life. Stunning views of the ocean practically everywhere at the hotel. And the hotel itself is teeming with marine life every time you look down into the water. If there’s one thing to nitpick over, it’s the seaplane transfer to get to/from the hotel. Understandably it’s not in their control, but it’s not the most fun part of the trip due to the long time it takes from arrival to get to hotel and on return. Como Maalifushi understands that little details matter when it comes to great service and their understated but personal brand of hospitality makes the stay that much more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return!
