Hilton Garden Inn Detroit Downtown

I don't understand why the rooms are only cleaned every two days and the trash is only collected every two days. They said it's a Hilton policy, they even wrote it on the bathroom mirror, but there's no such rule. I travel all over the world, I've stayed in many Hiltons or Double Tree by Hiltons, and I've never seen such a rule. I paid for it but didn't receive adequate service. The parking fee is $55. The hotel should have its own parking lot or offer a discount for hotel guests. A hotel's parking fee shouldn't be more expensive than other options, but it is here. The parking lot right next door is cheaper. All hotels provide water in the room every day. At least, that's what I've seen so far. But here, no matter how many days you stay, they only provide water once.

We had a great stay! The room was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we have had in a hotel room! In a very short walking distance to Ford Field and Comerica Park. We will definitely stay here again.

The entire staff was very accommodating. Be prepared for outside weekend night life sounds outside to engulf the rooms. Running the room fans helps mitigate the sounds a lot.

Great Hotel to see the Tigers or Lions game! Quick walk Great Soulful restaurant around the corner of the hotel.

Great location, clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. Bed was great, bathroom was a good size. No shower cap with the toiletries, if that's important to you. Parking was a bit pricey at $55 US/night for valet. The nearest self park is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. After checking parking reviews in the area, went with the valet option since I was only there one night. There are also some good food options within walking distance.

No coffee station like they said only at breakfast time, no options for parking unless you pay 55.00 a night for valet. The staff is rude and useless. The hotel bar closes at 11. The gym was so small and the location was good but food options limited
