Yishang Oriental Hotel (Deyang Xudongli Food Street)

The room was okay overall. They gave us egg rolls when we checked in, which was a nice touch, even though they were supposedly no-name brand products. However, there were several long hairs on the sofa and water stains on the bathroom mirror. Also, the "goodnight milk" they mentioned was not provided, and no one mentioned it during the entire stay. Furthermore, the bedside socket was missing when I tried to charge my phone at night.

The promise of a free upgrade was a lie, and the service attitude deteriorated. The Yiju King Room I booked through Ctrip clearly stated on the website that a "free upgrade" was available, but the actual stay was filled with deception and perfunctory treatment, completely different from my previous stays. 1. The promise of a free upgrade was empty, and the room assignment was inconsistent and unreasonable: Upon arriving at the hotel this morning, the front desk initially informed me that "all rooms not facing the road had been booked by the company," leaving only rooms facing the main road. They then changed the story and said a free upgrade was available, and assigned me to Room 618. However, upon entering the room, it was drastically different from my previous stay, lacking even a separate sink, completely failing to meet the "upgrade" criteria. I then went downstairs to request a change back to my original room type, but was met with such hassle. The washbasin in the room was covered in stains, and the nearby outlet didn't fit the hair dryer plug and was so loose that I had to hold it down with one hand to get it to work. The showerhead sprayed unevenly and couldn't be adjusted. The bacon for breakfast was so thick it was impossible to chew (see the photos I took). 2. Staff service attitudes are hypocritical, with familiar staff lacking basic communication: During previous stays, Xue'er's reception service has always been attentive. However, this time, she stood by and watched other staff members make arrangements. Not only did she not offer any assistance, she didn't even offer a basic greeting, demonstrating a cold and indifferent attitude, a stark contrast to her previous service quality. In the past, they offered free room upgrades for good reviews. This time, the "free upgrade" offered as a booking inducement lie led to chaotic room assignments and a decline in service attitude. We hope the hotel will stop misleading customers with false promises and protect the basic rights of guests.

The room was just perfect for me, minimalist yet thoughtfully detailed. There was a wireless charging pad by the bed, eliminating the need to search for outlets. The curtains were electric, and when closed, the soundproofing was incredible. I had a wonderfully restful sleep. When I walked past the lobby this morning, the staff even asked if I could call a taxi. This subtle, thoughtful touch was truly heartwarming. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The receptionists, Yueyue and Xueer, provided professional and friendly service, making the check-in process smooth and providing a great experience!

Facilities: The facilities are complete, Xueer and Yueyue have good attitudes and provide thoughtful service. Highly recommended.

I was very satisfied with my hotel stay. Xue'er and Yueyue were very helpful, and parking was free.
