Hotel Afford Inn

This is probably the worst hotel you could ever stay in; it's uninhabitable. The staff, from service to reception, and even the person who drove me to the airport, were all incredibly rude. And regarding the airport transfer, it's not free as some reviews claim; you have to pay for it, and each person quotes a different price off the top of their head. Most importantly, the noise was unbearable. I had an 8 AM flight and couldn't sleep a wink due to the extreme noise, dirt, and awful smell. Honestly, only someone used to filth would stay here. The mattress was so bad; I'd rather sleep on the floor for my back's sake. My back hurt from it, it was so saggy, and the bedding smelled absolutely disgusting.

This has to be the worst hotel in the world. The service was terrible. We arrived at 4 PM, and our rooms weren't ready. We had to wait a full hour to be checked into the lowest-grade rooms, even though we booked an upgraded deluxe room that was supposed to be 55m². The furniture was old, everything in the room was dirty, and the mattress was so hard it felt like sleeping on a board. After an hour of arguing at reception, we were moved to a slightly better room, but again, everything was dirty, there was no hot water, and you could hear absolutely everything happening outside. Our booking also stated a complimentary fruit platter, but we were scammed out of that too.

The hotel isn't bad. The staff are kind and helpful. The floors weren't entirely clean, but the bedding was spotless, and the bed itself was generally good quality. The air conditioning was old but functional. There's also a small restaurant on the first floor that I believe operates 24/7.

Great location, close to the airport, with nice streets to walk around and decent cafes nearby. The room and hotel itself are nothing special, but it's cheap.

During our stopover in Dhaka, we chose Hotel Afford Inn, located close to the international airport. For a short stay, it turned out to be a very convenient option. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Hazrat Shahjalal Airport, and also on Dhaka's main avenue. The staff are polite and always ready to help with any questions. The room is simple, nothing fancy, but clean, and has a shower and toilet. Breakfast is good, but there was no meat, at least not for us.

Arrived late at night, but they were very kind and accommodating. I was so tired that I asked for an extra night, but when I changed my mind in the morning, they let me cancel for free. Plus, I even got free water. Thank you so much!

The only upside is its proximity to the airport. Standardly, the bedding was all dirty; I asked for it to be changed. The rooms smelled, just a terrible hotel. I would rate it at a maximum price of 500 Taka per night.
