Nova Maldives

The accommodation was immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious (we are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 10 and shared a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom beach villa). The vegetation is beautifully maintained, lush and dense and offered great privacy between villas. There were always plenty of available sun loungers and bean bags despite the hotel being ‘full’ - in fact it seemed almost empty. From senior management to general maintenance, the staff are the most attentive and friendly folk you will ever likely meet. They always go above and beyond - Evi is actually worth his weight in gold! Our children kept commenting “everyone is so nice” ☺️ Having read mixed reviews about the catering before departing, I can confidently confirm the food variety and quality is nothing short of excellent. We were on a full board basis and enjoyed every single meal in Soul Kitchen. Ali and his skilled team of chefs - including ‘Stir Fry King’ Hilka - had time to fulfil all our children’s special requests in addition to cooking for the other hotel guests. They even invited the kids to cook with them on three occasions. We have visited the Maldives 5 times and Nova/the South Ari Atoll offers the most varied and abundant marine life we have encountered. We swam with a whale shark, about 20 manta rays cyclone feeding, reef sharks, sting rays, dolphins, turtles and thousands of fish - some in very large shoals. The hotel offers a stunning and easily accessible house reef, pristine water clarity and serene turquoise lagoon. Special mention to Eddie, Ismail, Wande and the team at Aquaholics who gave us memories we will never forget thank you and resident marine biologist Toby whose extensive knowledge of the majestic sea giants has totally captivated and inspired our 3 budding marine biologists! A highlight for us was the illuminated jetty where we spent hours watching huge rays and nurse sharks after supper. We would also recommend the sunset fishing trip and private speedboat charter to swim with the larger marine life. We have never returned to a hotel but without doubt, will start saving our pennies to return to Nova as soon as we can, it is an absolute gem of a place. This is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. It is a truly magical experience. Amazing hotel with more than awesome staff. The food is great, the scenery, everything is perfect. Special thanks to Easa who made our stay even more memorable with the amazing surprise that he did for us in our room (can be seen in the pictures). I was planning this honeymoon trip for such a long time. Unfortunately, so many things went terribly wrong on the first day which I don’t even want to mention now as I would like to keep it on positive note. However, we just wanted to say a big thank you to the every person working there, for your kindness and taking care of us. Especially to Sidhra who is not only an extremely talented photographer but also an amazing human being. Thank you for your compassion and checking on me and also for the great photos and making our stay truly memorable

We spent 2 weeks on this wonderful paradise. This is a real 5* island from every aspect. The bungalows are modern, fully equipped and fulfill every possible demand. The restaurants are one of the most excellent we have ever visited, the meals were absolutely high quality, fantastic and delicious. Our main target was the diving during our holiday and we had lots of amazing and unforgettable underwater experience. They are surrounded by many marvelous dive sites, among which one of the world's best, Kudarah Thila. The diving center is very well-equipped, the staff is really professional, kind and polite. They provide outstanding service for every guest at every level. We warmly recommend this destination for everyone, don't miss visiting this brilliant underwater world. We are looking forward returning to them again.

Amazing experience! Paradise on earth with Angels taking care of our experience! What a place! Staff was amazing, they go an extra mile to make your experience superb! The pancakes are the best and the ice cream is also really Delicious and the other food also 10/10 I really recommend it the bed is also really pretty but our walls did have some water in them when it rained it needed to be fixed so we moved to an other Room I also really like the Swinging chair outside I really also recommend the Spa best experience EVER.

Beautiful spot. Very nice stuff. Especially Thanks to Anggy, Bimola and Heidy from the service. Bimola made the best pancake ever! Also stuff from spa like Tri and the others are exceptionel! And not to forget Maadu from the beach bar. Thanks to all. It will be a unforgettable time on Nova Maledives!

I visited the Nova Maldives resort with a work colleague for 5 days in the first week of May, 2024. We had the most fantastic time. The Nova resort was everything we could have hoped for. We swam with Whale Sharks and Manta Rays we swam and snorkeled in the house reef and had all the adventure we could have hoped for. The aquatics team let by Adam was exceptional. We became good friends. The all inclusive food service was beyond compare. We stayed in a beachfront villa which was immaculate. Special shoutout to the service. Everywhere we turned, the staff was exceptionally friendly and kind. In particular, Bimola was wonderful in the kitchen/dining area. She was genuinely welcoming, always smiling and willing to offer anything she could do to cater to our dining needs or desires. She was a great ambassador of the quality of service at the resort. Additionally, I must mention Anggie and Yani who were similarly exemplary of the most excellent service, always greeting you with a smile and anticipating what was needed. All in all, I say BRAVO to Nova Maldives.
