Incredible location with a view of the whole valley, several castles and even the Alps on a clear day! It was a perfect sanctuary after a busy touristy day visiting wineries and the Langhe small towns. The host Lorena was amazingly helpful and responsive from the very beginning when we booked to the end (do follow her suggestions of restaurants and wineries!). We had the largest suite with views of both garden and a balcony to the valley. It was spacious and super comfortable and had excellent amenities so one could just have an evening in without going out for dinner. The breakfast was “abundantly abundant”… actually perhaps a bit much for us who usually eat a light breakfast especially if we went out to eat the night before. So we skipped it on the last couple of mornings. But the spread was magnificent and filled with homemade goodies and local products and could really be a solid brunch to hold one til dinner! You do need a car for this location. But the location is really convenient, only a few minutes from Alba, Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, etc. Really: look no further!
