**🌟🌟🌟🌟☆ — Great Stay at Hotel Splendid, Diana Marina!** We had a lovely stay at **Hotel Splendid** in Diano Marina. The experience was mostly positive, with a few minor things to keep in mind depending on your needs. ### 👍 What we loved: * **🏖️ Private Beach** – Clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. A real highlight! * **🏊 Swimming Pool** – Great for a quick dip, cosy atmosphere, well maintained. * **🍝 Excellent Menu** – The food was delicious every day, with generous portions and plenty of variety. A real credit to the chefs! ### 😐 Neutral Observations: * **🗣️ Language Barrier** – Staff mostly speak Italian. Some Ukrainian speakers are available in the restaurant, but if you don’t speak Italian, communication may be a bit limited. * **🚶 Accessibility** – The hotel is four floors high. There is a lift, but it's a bit unpredictable, so most guests use the stairs. May not be ideal for those with mobility issues. ### 🤫 Not really a negatives, but... * There’s **no background music** in the restaurant or reception, which made it very quiet. Personally, we didn’t mind – it added to the calm atmosphere – but others might find it a bit too silent. I didn't drive but see parking might be a issue after reading other people reviews and seeing parking is always full. ### ✅ Overall: A clean, friendly and charming hotel with amazing food and a perfect beach location. Just be aware of the stairs and language differences. If you’re after a peaceful Italian seaside escape, this place is ideal! **Would we return?** Definitely considering it! 🇮🇹💙

I have been here with my children and I must say that the price is competitive. Unfortunately that is the only thing. They put us in an annex without telling us. The light for the stairs was broken and you arrived in the dark, with the switch 3 meters ahead. Clean room, but unfortunately the cleaners told us that they are underpaid or worse not paid and in fact there is a lot of turnover. The balcony in the room was very low and does not comply with the regulations. Extremely dangerous for children, clearly we were not warned. Very salty food, according to many guests this is done intentionally to make people consume more drinks, which are obviously not included. The bill was wrong twice, strangely higher than agreed. We were ordered "write us a nice review", unfortunately we were honest, especially to avoid others having a terrible experience. They responded by insulting us via email. Soon I’m going to publish what she wrote.

This was our first time at the Hotel Splendid and we have to stay this is a beautiful hotel and perfect to explore Liguria. Lovely hotel and an excellent stay. The food was very tasty with a fab view from the terrace and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a perfect location. Thanks for a brilliant time.

Comfortable and lovely hotel close to the beach. Good swimming pool with jacuzzi, easy parking and beautiful view from the balcony

We have booked a room at this hotel for this summer. I must admit that the high quality of service and attention to detail was outstanding. Check-in was super efficient. The room was super clean, immaculate, spacious. Here you can find the best amenities. Food is outstanding. Customer service is genuinely super friendly. Full credit shall be given to the staff for looking after me and my friends. Cinzia was simply amazing as she met our expectations, going above and beyond, from the very beginning. We are seriously thinking about booking another room for next year. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Dirty and unsafe for kids, Dirty linen towels, Stuff very rude. Pool very dirty with some poo floating. Super on safe for kids. Stuff needs to go under serious training.
