Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands Reviews

A very nice hotel, the rooms are clean, and Marriott's performance is consistently good as always. They even have latex pillows, which is great because I can't stand those soft pillows you often find abroad. The tram stop is right outside, and you can take a free tram to Melbourne city center. There's also a pretty big mall nearby. Dining is very convenient, with many restaurants around, including Chinese ones.

Super nice staff. Very impressive with the service. And housekeeping staff helped us tidy the room everyday. Room is spacious. Location is good, near the free tram stop and also very near to the southern cross station and the shopping malls.

The staff here are amazing!! Let me check in before time and made the stay great. Breakfast unfortunately isn’t that great and the club room is too small.

Very good location, the price is fairly low.

Decent hotel, some odd in house policies but otherwise a nice stay.  Buffet breakfast was good with the usual bacon eggs, fruits juices coffee omelettes.  Plenty of restaurants near by hotel about 3-4 min walk around the corner near the Hoyts. Urban Brewery. Asian, Greek, delicious ice cream, kids adventure and entertainment, Woolworth and Dan’s Murphy’s are a short walk in the opposite mall as well about 2 mins with a chem warehouse. Roof top pool was lovely, with the heated spa. Nice view and it can get cold but in a hot day is lovely. I wouldn’t go swimming on the cold day. Had a free welcome drink in the sunset bar but did not have food. Did not try room service.  Check in and out was as expected. Pay $100 deposit per night, best to use CC as they charge you triple with cash deposits.  Complex across the road Also do remedial and foot massages there.  Rooms are a nice size with big bathrooms, beds are comfy. Staff seem to be friendly and smiling. Rooms We’re cleaned on time everyday. Had no issues with the room or cleanliness.  Overall nice area in the Dockland! 12 min u er to the casino and DFO south whalf mall where you get some fantastic bargains.  Dont catch taxi EVER. Uber are quick and very efficient.  Taxi wanted to charge me $95 from domestic to hotel, Uber $59 in comparison. Stay away from taxis as they rip you off.

It was really nice and cozy. Offered welcome drinks. Had great range of breakfast options. Amazing staff. Little infinity type pool. Private parking just opposite side of the hotel

Hotel location is good, just 2 mins to tram station. Shopping mall just locate opposite with easy assess to supermarket and pharmacy for daily necessities.

Pros: we were given early check in at 12:30 connected to the district mall/complex opposite woolies swimming pool is heated - so good breakfast is fantastic - freshly squeeze juice, salad, fruit options Cons: nothing. definitely will come back

Nice location, beautiful rooftop pool, but the carpark is not close,i didn't see any instruction about car entry information. no teeth brush and comb supplied, called receipt for comb, got it sent to the room one hour later. dusty under table.

The Indian management team sucks. They bully both the customers and the cleaning staff.

Convenient location and good value for money.

Had a fantastic time at Docklands Marriott! Location was great, the room was lovely and the welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch 😊 staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooftop pool was relaxing and beautiful. Tho it had a fair bit of people, it didn't bother us as everyone just kept to their own spot. It has lots of eateries around, Woolies, Chemist and free tram stop are all right across from the hotel. Will definitely come back and recommend!

Service at reception was absolutely excellent. The amenities (particularly the beautiful pool) were exceptional, and having access to the bar and food poolside were a great experience.
