It was quite crowded during the National Day holiday, with long lines for check-in. Seeing this, the staff quickly escorted us to the Executive Lounge to check in instead. Since we booked an Executive Room and arrived just in time for afternoon tea, we were able to enjoy it right away. The hotel ambiance is great and shopping is very convenient. It's very close to malls—Guomao is right downstairs, and Huiyicheng is just across the street. The butlers, Sunny and Steven, provided excellent service and even prepared kids' amenities for us. That said, it would be even better if the room delivery service was a bit faster.

The young lady at the front desk upgraded our room and thoughtfully brought toiletries for the child. The room smelled lovely. After a tiring day stuck in traffic during the holiday, I fell asleep immediately after showering and lying in bed. The mattress was incredibly comfortable – dry, soft, and very supportive. Due to our tight holiday schedule, we didn't get to enjoy breakfast this time, only the gym. Next time, I'll definitely book breakfast too. InterContinental service is always excellent! 👍

Right next to the China World Mall, which was super convenient for the kids to go in and out and play. The luggage storage service was very thoughtful, and the view from the window was unbeatable. My child literally gasped "Wow!" when they opened the curtains.

My stay at Intercontinental Dongguan was pure relaxation~Over two cozy weekend nights, the plush bedding offered exceptional rest, while the luxurious bathtub provided the ultimate unwind. Warm hospitalities, a grand lobby, and serene ambiance made this chilling getaway absolutely unforgettable. I left completely recharged and highly recommend it!!

Service at front desk was very good. Location of the hotel is close to some big malls and is as central as possible in Dongguan. Room was very nice, now exceptionally big, but I loved the design and decor. Very much to my style at least. The only minor negative point were the toilet doors, which while looking great were too heavy to close and open easily. Great audio systems with Bose speaker even in the toilet. Large selection of free movies on demand. Breakfast was good, very peaceful atmosphere in the executive lounge. Downstairs bars didn't seem to have any cocktails on the drink list, which was a little disappointing. Cleanliness, service and design everywhere was on a very good level and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
