The room was large and clean. There was no coffee maker in the room but coffee was available in the lobby 24 hours/day. The breakfast was pretty sp****: 3 dry cereals, cook-it-yourself microwave oatmeal, 2 juice choices, milk and muffins. As I was checking in, I noticed that there was a sign on the counter saying that they require a $20 cash security deposit. That had not been disclosed anywhere in the booking process. I was prepared to argue but nothing was said. Then as I am unloading the car I got a text from my credit card company that there had been two $20 charges to my credit card with 5 minutes of when the room charge was made. Back to the office. The clerk said it was their policy to put a $20 ”hold” on the card. He denied making 2 charges and assured me that the charges would be removed when I checked out. I don't like unexpected charges added to my credit card. They were removed.

We checked out early from another hotel because it was dirty and it needed total a renovation. Im a germaphobe and when I stay at a hotel it better be thoroughly clean. This hotel check-in was fast and easy. The front desk agent was very friendly. This Hampton Inn is updated and modern. It is conveniently located next to a gas station, near a Walmart, and a Cracker Barrel. Walking into the room I am inspecting the bathroom floor, shower , coffee station, refrigerator and carpet around the bed. The room was very clean and it had a pleasant clean smell. The bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet had everything I needed… fruit, oatmeal and yogurt. The gym was small but it had free weights and a treadmill. I would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

We were very happy with everything about our room and stay except the floor in our room hadn't been vacuumed/cleaned, it felt grimy and we opted to stay in our shoes and socks while in the room. Parking was plentiful and the breakfast was very good with a pleasant assortment of foods to choose from. Any staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. I would stay here again.

I was very hesitant about staying at this hotel because of other reviews but I must say I was pleasantly surprised the room was clean only downside it was small. I would suggest a better complimentary breakfast which is basically non existent.But for what I paid I can get over that . I would recommend because the rooms were nice and clean as well as comfortable will return!
