Great place for a short trip!

This was rather disappointing stay - the Wi-Fi did not work, no gym access after 10PM, no breakfast before 8AM. Although I realize this is somewhat of a seasonal property, the competitors down the road offer full breakfast at 6AM, 24-hour gym access, modern rooms and free high-quality reliable Wi-Fi.
There were also no blankets in the room or on the bed and my heat was broken. I tried calling the front desk 5 times to address the issue, but no one answered the phone. The temperature in the room dropped to 40 degrees, so I slept in my coat.
The most positive part of this stay was the front-desk check in person. She was professional, helpful and attentive.
This property misses the mark on what are the needs, desires and expectations of a modern day traveler. The management strategy appears to be ill focused and dated.
My room overlooked the Dover Racetrack and when I first arrived, I was excited by the idea to come back and get a trackside room during a NASCAR race. Yet, after this stay I am not sure I would roll the dice on a return visit.

The sportsbook area is very plain, would be better to have extra (better quality) seating. There's only 1 bartender for the entire room.

Mattress was not comfortable at all. Not enough towels. Cabinet doors for the refrigerator was broken.

When we arrived first thing we noticed was that the door glass was very dirty, then we checked in and the room that we were supposed to have or told we were getting we didn’t get. It was supposed to be a handicap room with a walk-in shower, and the guy assured me that that was the room we was getting but when we ended the room we found out that it had a bathtub in it so they had to move us to another room, and after they move us to another room in the room all night only to find out the next morning that the lock on the door doesn’t lock so we call someone to fix the lock, but the person at the front desk was so careless about what time someone was coming they act like it wasn’t a big deal but we had to leave and leave the room unlocked hoping I will be long as wouldn’t be stolen until someone came to fix it. We didn’t know that made service would not come to clean the room. Nobody’s told us about that until we return and found out the room was still dirty towels were still dirty so we had to call room service and order some new towels.

My stay began with a flawless checkin. The staff at the front desk were friendly, polite and quick. The room I received, was very quiet and clean. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

Parking was terrible. On Friday is parking wasn't bad but on Saturday it was impossible to find a spot. You have to park so far away and it's a long long walk.

We have a video & pictures of a huge roach in our room. House keeping & Bally maintenance came up to our room 769 & verified it was definitely a huge roach. We want a refund & the hotel customer service said they put in their computer why we need a refund.
