Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Drumheller

The hotel is in a good location. Easily accessible to the downtown. Free breakfast was provided. The bedding was freshly made, you could see the staff were busy to change the bedding every morning. Just i found a bit dirty on the table, sticky all over on the bedside table. Obviously, someone pours some drinks previous on the table and the staff didn't clean it.

Room was good - nothing to write home about. It was clean, the bed were realitvely comfortable. No complaints. We chose this hotel as we travel as a family with our dogs. FYI - they do charge a relatively high pet fee. They charge per pet, $25/day.

good location and the price still affordable even if we booked same day.

This hotel shows its age. While the location is good and is close to the downtown Drumheller business district, the amenities are average at best. The fridge in our room was not working, and the air conditioner was very loud. Also, there was a musty smell in our room. The complimentary breakfast offered basic fare but certainly did not provide anything more than that. In addition, the breakfast seating area was inadequate for the number of guests using the facilities. I would not book this facility again.

Breakfast starts at 7:30am. Not appropriate for people travelling. We skipped it. This couple is doing everything themselves from check ins to room cleaning. So no doubt it’s why breakfast is so late. They clearly work very hard and there are short comings due to this. For me it was a shower and place to sleep for the night that’s it. If I went back and stayed longer than one night, I would pay more and stay elsewhere for that feeling of extra comfort, safety, and early hours for a breakfast .

The bathtub was extremely slippery and slow to drain
