Morlea Bed & Breakfast

Check in was quick and easy. Our room was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts of home. We were welcomed with delicious lemon drizzled cake, chocolate and a range of tea bags, coffee and hot chocolate. Both our hosts are so warm and friendly. We had wanted to have our takeaway dinner in the village green to enjoy the spring air but it was drizzling. Our hosts kindly provided cutlery for us to have our food in their dining area. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I definitely recommend this place which is conveniently located near the Loch Ness Hub & Travel centre, gift shops and restaurants.

What a wonderful place to stay. Great place to make a base for your Loch Ness visit & the surrounding sites or even a one night stay. We were welcomed like old friends returning even though it was our first time staying at the Morela B&B. Mike & Peggy are amazing hosts. Lots of personal touches during our stay. The breakfast was amazing, the care taken in choosing the locally sourced & homemade items were obvious for their quality. I’d recommend the Loch Ness Inn for an evening meal, short flat 15min walk (You will need to book well in advance in peak season). The Loch Ness center & yellow submarine is a 5 min walk. If you're visiting Fort Augustus there are a number of free parking spots on Oich rd & the view point is a short 3 min walk at the end of the lane & the locks are just across the road for the entrance to Oich rd.

Everything about this place is amazing! The location is perfect, the rooms are comfy and cosy, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. Mike and Peggy were fabulous from the very start and truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Mike makes a fresh breakfast every morning, which was such a lovely touch, and both of them made us feel so welcome. The rooms are beautiful and spotless. The shower is small, but definitely usable and not an issue at all. The location is fantastic — right in town and next to Loch Ness. I would 100% recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back one day. Thank you so much, Mike and Peggy!

Terrific small BnB, beautiful old building, lovely village setting, friendly, helpful hosts, great breakfast, comfy bed in a spacious room, couldn't have asked for more, would stay again

Really pleasant two night stay at Morlea. The room was great, finished to a high standard with thoughtful finish touches. Julie and Chris were super friendly and chatty and breakfast was great. We enjoyed mixing with other guests at breakfast. We had really good meals at the Fiddlers and Lochness Inn too. Thank you!

The owners, Julie and Chris are absolutely fantastic! We stayed for 3 nights here. Their attention to detail at their property is second to none. Every inch of our room was carefully thought out and you could tell they’ve put their heart and soul into it. The breakfast was lovely and they had many recommendations for the area. The B&B itself is gorgeous and done up just marvellously. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at this charming Bed and Breakfast exceeded every expectation. The location is absolutely stunning — a short walk/drive to Loch Ness, offering breathtaking views. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and offered great local recommendations. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell they take great pride in cleanliness, everything was comfortable, which allowed us to relax completely after a day of exploring. And breakfast was a great. We were treated to a delicious spread of homemade options. Can't recommend this B&B highly enough.

Wow—what an incredible place! I'm so grateful we found it and stayed for two nights. It's especially thoughtful and well-equipped for women, with everything you could possibly need. I honestly can't say enough good things—the space was spotless, the people were incredibly kind, the food was amazing, and the location couldn’t have been better.
