Cheval Maison – Expo City Dubai

Another stay, another reason I keep coming back to Cheval Maison Expo Dubai. Huge shoutout to Bouchra, Shenouda and his team, who once again surprised us with an upgrade. This has happened more times than I can count now, and as a comeback guest, I genuinely appreciate how remembered and valued I always feel. This trip was extra special because I brought along my 8-year-old son and my 73-year-old mom for Winter City, and honestly this hotel is the perfect base for it. Everything is walkable, (service golf cars exist too) stress-free, and right next to the fun. They absolutely loved roaming around Terra Pavilion and soaking in the Christmas magic at the Al Wasl Dome. Happy kid + happy mom = relaxed me. Big thanks as well to Mehedi, and especially Khakendra, who has been our superstar housekeeper not just this stay, but even during my previous visits with friends. Always warm, thorough, and quietly excellent, exactly how great service should be! Cheval Maison continues to feel less like a hotel and more like a place that actually gets its guests. If you’re visiting Expo City especially during winter, this is where you want to be. I’ll definitely be back (again 😉).

The Room & Amenities The rooms are a highlight—modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean. They are sufficiently equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The wellness facilities are equally impressive; the pool and gym (including the sauna) are clean, well-maintained, and offer plenty of space and equipment. Important Note: Be aware that it gets quite loud during the day and evening. Music from the nearby Dome plays from the afternoon until midnight, which might be a distraction if you're looking for total peace. Also, I did get bitten by some bugs while by the pool, so keep that in mind. Location & Logistics The location is a "double-edged sword." The Pros: It is literally steps away from the Expo, making it an absolute dream for exhibitors and visitors. The Cons: It is quite far from the city center; it takes at least 45 minutes by Metro to reach Mall of the Emirates. Essentials: There is only one spot nearby for groceries, and it is unfortunately quite expensive. Dining & Service The check-in and check-out staff were fantastic—very friendly and helpful. While I didn’t book breakfast, I took a look at the buffet; it looked quite basic with limited choices and could definitely be improved. On the plus side, guests get a discount at some surrounding restaurants, which helps with the cost. Final Verdict I would definitely stay here again for my next business trip due to the proximity and room quality. However, due to the distance from the city and the ambient noise, I wouldn't stay here for a leisure vacation.

We were quite disappointed with the service handling when the guest encountered problems several times. 1. The water pressure is totally awfu l!!!!!!!! 2. After the 1st technician came to check the problem with the oven in the morning, the fridge and washing machine didn't work when we returned to the room at night. We were waiting for some times for the 2nd technician because we need to wash our clothes even the night time, he finally came to check from the main switchboard and found that a button had been turned  off by mistake by the 1st technician. Since we kept the remaining cheese and orange juice in the fridge, for safety reasons, we didn't eat them, as the fridge had been completely powered off for the whole day . They wasted our food! Although we didn't ask for compensation for the above two issues, the Reception should do something for guests as a gesture. 

The best hotel which is completely clean and new. Service was excellent. I booked a luxurious hotel room which  was really luxury. I enjoyed my stay there.  The only thing I want to recommend is I hope the hotel would bring in more dining options in the future. Since the hotel is located in Expo city, that would be a plus for hotel business if it provides more restaurants for the guests to choose.

As this is a new hotel, so everything is new and good. Location is a little bit far from downtown, but it is okay due to we can go to downtown by metro between 30 to 45 minute. Good customer service and safe. Total: 8/10 thanks.
