### ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) – Disappointing Experience Due to Service & Handling Issues I stayed at **Citymax Hotel Bur Dubai** and unfortunately my experience was disappointing, mainly due to **service handling and issue resolution** rather than the physical condition of the hotel itself. While the location is convenient and the hotel is generally acceptable for a short stay, I faced **unexpected issues during my stay that were not handled efficiently or professionally**. Communication between the hotel and the booking platform was slow, and follow-ups required excessive effort from my side. Promises made were not clearly reflected or resolved in a timely manner, which caused unnecessary stress. What was most frustrating was the **lack of clear accountability and delayed responses**, especially when time-sensitive matters were involved. Most important notes: Hotel Room was not in IP Status. They did not properly cleaned the room and set up was not completed. And later on I asked iron which the iron was broken and damaged which burned my pants. As a guest, this gives the impression that customer concerns are not treated with sufficient priority. I am not even talking about very rude f&b staff member and super weak breakfast menu. That was embarrasing I would recommend this hotel **only if you have flexible plans and do not expect strong customer support**. Otherwise, I suggest considering alternative options in the area with better service consistency and communication.

the hotel is clean. location in a crowded area. hotel was crowded because of the holidays season. the staff was really nice and helpful and they accomodate me easily before the check in time (early check in). special thanks to Mary and Sunny.

Osm and why good for average budget person

Overall, everything is very good, and the location of the hotel is excellent. The lobby, however especially the waiting area tends to be quite crowded most of the time, and there are often non guests seen sitting or resting there. The hotel also has a large disco, which makes the area livelier but sometimes adds to the crowd in the evenings. On the other hand, the upper floors of the hotel are peaceful and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hotel staff, especially the room cleaners, are extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. Their service really adds to the overall positive experience.

Check in time process very bad standing in the que 30 to 40 mints room is very small not well clean parking is free just location ok very crowded hotel

TV is of No use. Nothing comes in that TV. No carpet outside washroom. AC is automatic, cannot cange the temperature. Plus point should be near bed
