Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton

This hotel has a unique, ancient town vibe, yet the sanitation facilities are excellent. It's located right in the heart of the old town, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The downside is its prime location at the busiest intersection of the old town. The windows face street vendors, making it quite noisy at night. Laughter and conversations can be heard until 1 or 2 AM, and you can even hear airplanes constantly. Travelers who are sensitive to noise or require quiet for sleep should carefully consider before booking.

The hotel itself is excellent, no issues whatsoever. I always stay here for my trips, whether for leisure or business, and have probably accumulated about fifteen nights in total, making me a loyal fan. The staff are all very friendly, and I've gotten to know a few of them well. They're basically always willing to help. However, we are currently in an extraordinary period (which I completely understand). The hotel is also located within a scenic area, and some of the security guards there (who are not hotel staff) were a bit overzealous regarding photography. On my last day, my friend and I were simply filming a funny video on the street, trying to showcase the scenery and environment. Suddenly, a South Asian security guard came up and, under the pretense of questioning, took us to the security office. His attitude was also quite unsettling (there was a certain degree of verbal threat). We were held for about 1-2 hours, and his superior was notified. Thankfully, his superior quickly released us after understanding the situation (I appreciate his judgment and decision). I fully understand the new policies of the scenic area during these special times. It's just that a very small number of non-hotel, lower-level security personnel had issues with their execution, which indirectly affected guests' experience of the hotel and scenic area. This incident will not diminish my positive impression of this hotel. The current management policies of the hotel and scenic area are also very reasonable (I hope everything passes soon). The hotel itself offers excellent value for money, so I (and my colleagues) will definitely continue to stay here in the future.

First off, the reception staff were incredibly friendly. Being close to Al Seef Souk made it great for shopping, and the atmosphere felt less like a city and more like something out of Aladdin. Even when I only requested towels, they still tidied up the bathroom impeccably. Thank you for helping me make such wonderful memories. 👍👍👍👍👍

I was a bit hesitant after reading some reviews, but my actual stay exceeded expectations, especially the restaurant's incredibly rich selection of food. This place is actually a historical and cultural district, filled with traditional local Arab architecture. My room was quiet and not far from the restaurant, and everything was clearly marked. There's also an underground parking lot, which is great for self-driving. Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it.

Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, with a strong traditional Arabian charm, right within the attraction itself. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and there's a shuttle and staff to take you to your room. Cons: The room was a bit small, and it was quite noisy when the window was open. The cleanliness was just average (the service card on the bedside table had dust buildup). The room had a musty smell, and the fan had black mold.

Overall, it was okay, but there were a few issues. The windows weren't soundproof, and the kettle lid wouldn't stay closed. On the second night, the bathroom ceiling fell down, and something inside was flashing. We were leaving the next day anyway, so we didn't bother reporting it.
