The location was convenient for exploring Dublin, and I arrived early before check-in. The hotel was kind enough to let me leave my luggage first, which was very helpful. I only came back around 8pm to collect my key and luggage after spending the day exploring Dublin.
The room was compact and small, but comfortable and cozy enough for sleeping. Everything was generally fine except that I was given a basement-level room. There are only two rooms on that level, and unfortunately I could hear dogs barking quite often from the roadside. The window also had a very limited view facing a small airwell, which I did not really like.
My main concern is that the booking was made through Trip.com, but there was no indication that the room would be a basement room. It would be better if this was clearly stated during the booking so guests can make an informed choice.
Overall, the stay was okay, but I would prefer a room on a higher floor next time.
