I only realized this hotel didn't have air conditioning right before my trip, but thankfully, it turned out not to be an issue. There was a fan in the room, but I didn't even need to turn it on – temperatures dropped to about 10-15 degrees Celsius at night in August, so the lack of AC didn't affect my comfort at all. The hotel entrance is small, located next to a bar, and I had to check the building number on the map to find it. The elevator was out of order, so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs, but staff assistance was available if needed. It felt like an old apartment building, but the room was spacious enough. You could occasionally hear music from the bar downstairs, but it was faint and not disruptive. It's very close to the airport shuttle stop, but I overlooked that the supermarket next to the hotel didn't sell bread, and bakeries closed by 8 or 9 PM. Luckily, there was a McDonald's on the way to the shuttle stop the next morning to grab breakfast. The hotel is very close to the city center, Trinity College, and the bar street isn't far either. The front desk guy was also very friendly, and the room was quite comfortable.

Hotel was in the city centre and offered good value for money for the location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bag storage was free unlike some other places around. There was a coffee machine in the room providing expressive. If you book the room for 3, it works out very cheao

Sawasdee ka from Thailand 😍❤️ This was my third time visiting Dublin, and I can honestly say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far.😍❤️ At first, we didn’t have high expectations because the entrance is quite narrow and doesn’t really reflect what the hotel is like inside. However, the moment we stepped into our room, we were surprised. The room was spacious, clean, and much better than expected❤️ The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a hair dryer, coffee machine, complimentary bottled water, tea, and coffee. The facilities were excellent, and everything was well maintained🙏🙏🙏 The location is also fantastic and within walking distance of many attractions, making it easy to explore Dublin☘️🇮🇪 Highly recommend ✅✅

Had a pleasant stay here! The hotel is in a convenient location, and the room was clean and comfortable. A special compliment to the receptionist, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fun to chat with. Their warm personality and excellent service made us feel right at home and left a great first impression. The only downside was that the lift was not operating, so guests had to carry their luggage up to the 4th floor, which was quite inconvenient. Hopefully this can be fixed soon. Overall, it was still a good stay thanks to the excellent hospitality from the staff.

My stay at the Abbey Hotel in Dublin presented a mixed experience, with both positives and a few inconveniences. The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to the city center and many major attractions, making most sightseeing spots accessible on foot. There's a shopping mall right across the street, and numerous restaurants and bars nearby, which was super convenient for shopping, dining, and evening outings. However, its distance from Connolly Station is a bit of a drawback; it's about a 25-minute walk, which can be quite a struggle if you're carrying luggage. For this reason, I'd rate the location 4/5. The overall cleanliness of the room was good, and the daily-use spaces were well-maintained, earning a 4/5 for tidiness. A point to note is that our room faced the main road, and the soundproofing wasn't great. Outside traffic and street noise were quite audible, which might bother light sleepers. Furthermore, every time we wanted to enter or exit the hotel, we had to ring a doorbell and wait for the staff to open the door. This was less convenient than being able to use a key card to come and go as we pleased, so the facilities get a 3/5. On the positive side, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. Their attitude was always pleasant when assisting us with opening the door or handling any accommodation requests, making us feel very welcome. I'd give service a perfect 5/5. Overall, this hotel is ideal for travelers who prioritize a central location, as well as easy access to shopping and dining. However, if you're sensitive to noise, concerned about nighttime disturbances, or prefer unrestricted access to and from the hotel, these are factors you'll want to consider before booking.

The location is quite convenient, and the price is reasonable. It's fine on weekdays, but the nightclub downstairs is so loud on weekends that I can't fall asleep until 3 AM.

The triple room is a bit larger than the family room, and the location is great, right in the city center.
