The Best hotel with good room service and location.

I read several reviews complaining about the noise outside from the pubs & restaurants, but I don't think I read any about the noise from inside the hotel, whether it's from the upstairs guests or the ones next door. I found the noise outside was tolerable, perhaps because I was on the 4th floor, and it was mid-week so party-goers were still recovering from the previous weekend? and it's cold so the window was closed And to be fair the hotel did message me in advance about the noise outside, but perhaps they should remind the guests to be considerate, specially later in the evening. One complaint I have is about the window in my room. It didn't have a good seal against its frame and during the night the wind was causing it to rattle continuously.

Glad I was only booked for 1 night. Stayed in room 104 a triple bed room with my 2 sons. I will start with the positive it was clean but the decor was very old, lovely sash windows but the down side to that was draughty enough to make net curtain move! No double glaze on outside like other hotels on the same street. We stayed on a Monday night so not a problem with club noise but the tram stopped right outside the window and there was constant noise from that so much so that the tea cups rattled and I had to separate and place on a soft surface. I used the earplugs supplied but it was still noisy. No water to fill kettle for a cup of tea either. Bathroom was very tiny and toilet seat lid wouldn't go fully back so kept touching my back when I sat down which is disgusting. Toilet paper was thicker at the connelly street train station too! Breakfast was poor all self service and coffee was luke warm and cheap even though we were first in for breakfast. On a plus they did have oat milk when I asked and staff were friendly at breakfast. Thankfully we had eaten dinner somewhere else but decided to have a sticky toffee pudding and Irish coffee. The sticky toffee pudding was very small portion and very dry and the Irish coffee was ok but had better in Tenerife so a bit disappointing since we were in Ireland! I would definitely not class this as a 3 star hotel only chose here as it was close to where we had an appoin**ent at 9am but wouldn’t stay again.

Great breakfast and waiting staff. Awful sleep due to a large group of students being checked in at 1am. The noise went on until 2.30am with other guests shouting at the students. When I asked for a refund I was refused straight away with no apology. I was just told they were young - probably 15-16! Building site across the road and club next door which was not as noisy as the students

Great location! Only “but” is the amount of stairs Yes they have a lift but still you need to climb stairs if you are on the higher floors Aside of that , great place!

A decent sized family room for 4 of us. Its an older building, so some of the barhroom facilities were a bit tired. The staff were lovely and the location is great. My biggest problem was the noise. The occupants in adjacent, above and below rooms could be clearly heard. Its quite a lively spot, so a lot of people coming in late at night, woke us up both nights. But I suppose that's a Dublin thing.

If you want to come to this hotel, bring earplugs, the best quality the money can buy or a noice canceling headphone. They have a beergardenwith loud music until 02.00. There is a nightclub with music till 04.00 and when you are very lucky they have a party with deafening music. Even for breakfast they serve loud music, the airco is rattling in this hotel they do not respect the pease and quiet of their guests, but it is their priority to party with loud noice. As a compensation they offer you plastic earplugs. If you are over 25 look for an other hotel

Lovely hotel very clean and welcoming! We had an issue and Magna was so helpful to try to help us in a crisis. Probably the best part of visiting Ireland for us. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. It was very convenient to have the bar downstairs. It is close to the tram and bus stop and very easy to walk to many places. Enjoyed this hotel!
