Qingcheng Moutain Boarding Home stay

Disappointed. Traveling with my family, I saw this place ranked as the No. 2 boutique B&B in Chengdu and thought I'd give it a try. After staying one night, I was thoroughly disappointed. The following review is based on my and my family's personal experience, objective facts, and is absolutely not fabricated or malicious. Overall, the hotel's decor and facilities are decent, and the rooms are relatively clean. However, several things made us very uncomfortable and ruined our travel mood. 1. I repeatedly told the front desk that there were floating objects in the swimming pool and the water was a bit cloudy, asking the staff to change the water. The front desk gave excuses, saying the water was changed four days ago, their staff's children swam in it yesterday, and the pool attendant was on vacation, refusing my request. 2. There were cockroaches and mosquitoes in the room. We saw and dealt with 5 or 6 of them. The staff said it couldn't be avoided as this room was on the mountain. 3. The power went out at midnight (12 AM). We were told it was a power outage in the Qingcheng Mountain area. They could only use a generator for power, but the air conditioning wouldn't work. It was very hot at night, affecting our sleep. 4. We stayed in a loft-style room. There was no TV on the first floor for everyone to watch together, only a projector by the window on the second floor. If you don't mind, you can squeeze onto the second floor. These were the uncomfortable aspects of our stay. On the other hand, the customer service butler was quite responsive, actively replying to messages until 11:30 PM. The breakfast food was no different from what you'd find in a chain hotel, and the restaurant staff had a good service attitude. In summary, the environment, location, and facilities are all decent, but it's not worth the price.

The environment is beautiful. The hot springs are pretty good. The hotel isn't big but it's well-equipped. The service is good. Although the restaurant food is a bit pricey, the taste is excellent. It's also very conveniently located near the ancient town!

The air quality at the hotel's location is exceptionally fresh, ensuring a great night's sleep. Turning right out of the hotel brings you to Tai'an Ancient Town, where an after-dinner stroll along the river is incredibly pleasant. My parents loved it, making it an excellent choice for trips with elderly family members.

Came here for the Dragon Boat Festival. Even though there was a bit of traffic on the way, the hotel service was excellent. They were really enthusiastic and proactive in helping with our luggage. Plus, every spot in this hotel is super photogenic. I'd definitely come back again if I get the chance.

Facilities: The hardware facilities are excellent, and the bedding is very comfortable. There's underfloor heating, air conditioning, and a dehumidifier. The room also has a private hot spring pool, ensuring complete privacy. Cleanliness: Superb, on par with a five-star hotel. Environment: Located within the Qingcheng Mountain Back Mountain scenic area, the guesthouse has a wabi-sabi style, perfect for photos. Service: The butler service was incredibly thoughtful and met all our requests. Since we arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet, the front desk lady invited us to make sachets and practice calligraphy/sutra copying. In the evening, they even delivered a sweet nightcap. Definitely a thumbs-up!

A small yet exquisite boutique B&B with excellent butler service. They respond to messages instantly, making for a great experience. The overall design aesthetic is strong, and its location on the hillside offers a lot of privacy. There are also many small animals around – though the birds can get quite noisy in the early morning! And most importantly, it's incredibly photogenic! Highly recommended!

This hotel is a gem – a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The bedding was spotless, comfortable, and just the right firmness. I also appreciated the nice toiletries. All the staff were wonderful and proactively helpful. I really miss sitting on the balcony in the evening, watching the rain and listening to the cicadas – it was such a relaxing and peaceful feeling. The mountains are truly amazing, I wish I could live there forever.

Another wonderful trip! We picked the right time and the perfect guesthouse. The design of the entire place is just amazing! They contacted us beforehand with the address, and everything – from service and cleanliness to dining – was absolutely perfect! It really boosted our spirits for the entire journey.

The environment is great and definitely worth the price! There are plenty of food options right outside. It's very close to Tai'an Ancient Town, and the room is clean and comfortable. Definitely worth a second visit.
