Howard Johnson Conference Resort Chengdu

I used to visit Qingcheng Mountain twice a year and always stayed at the Howard Johnson. It's been a while, so I came back to relive some old memories. They upgraded my room, and the hotel is still well-maintained, retaining a sense of its rich history. I fell while hiking and got a small cut, and the hotel staff quickly sent over some medical supplies. Overall, the hotel still has a good character. They could, however, put a bit more effort into their staff's demeanor to make guests feel even more at home. The Miyuan Bookstore is also one of my favorite spots to relax, but this time I noticed many of the little trinkets were gone, so I didn't spend much time there.

This hotel is super close to Qingcheng Mountain Station, within walking distance, making it really convenient to get to both the front and back mountains. As an established five-star hotel, it's well-managed with excellent service. What impressed me most was the hotel's stunning environment – beautiful views everywhere you look! The room was spacious, and opening the window immediately offered a picturesque scene, which was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was also rich and varied, even including authentic local snacks. My only regret is that my schedule was too tight this time, so I didn't get to experience the hotel's hot spring. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance! 🤩

Even though the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are still really good. There are also food delivery options nearby and it's conveniently located. The front desk staff even gave me a free upgrade to an executive room! The hot springs are great, with over ten different pools, big and small.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could need. **Environment:** The setting is elegant, with a charming courtyard style, lush with trees and vibrant greenery. The hot spring water quality is excellent, as it's free-flowing, and the temperature is just right. Soaking in the hot spring amidst the mountain forest is an incredibly relaxing experience.

Facilities: The hotel has been operating for over ten years, so it's a bit dated, but it's well-maintained. It has the classic style of an old five-star hotel. Hygiene: The cleanliness meets standards. Environment: The hotel covers a large area with lush greenery and swaying trees; you could truly call it a hotel in a forest, a great spot to breathe in oxygen-rich natural air. The hotel lobby and the corridors connecting the various buildings are spacious, bright, and grand, much more opulent than the rooms themselves. There are various Chinese and Western restaurants, a chess and card room, a children's playground, and a large natural hot spring pool with many different smaller pools. Service: The service is warm and attentive, and the complimentary buffet breakfast is extensive. The entire hotel would be perfect if it were renovated and updated.

This is an excellent hotel in Mount Qingcheng, and it's my third time staying here – truly a fantastic choice for a getaway. The mountain view room offers stunning scenery of Mount Qingcheng; on cloudy or rainy days, it's enveloped in mist, creating a very serene view. On clear days, you can even see snow-capped mountains in the distance, possibly Siguniang Mountain, depending on the direction. The hotel service is great, always accommodating requests promptly. The breakfast is also very good, especially the delicious noodles from the noodle station. I highly recommend this Howard Johnson hotel in Qingcheng, and I will definitely be back!

This has been my go-to hotel in Dujiangyan for years. While the facilities are definitely a bit older than they were a decade ago, the service is consistently excellent, and the hotel's location is simply unbeatable.

The hotel is ideally located right across from Qingcheng Mountain's new entrance. It's about a 30-minute walk to the main entrance of Qingcheng Mountain's front section. The surroundings are beautiful with lush greenery, parking is convenient, and the amenities nearby are excellent. The front desk staff were polite during check-in and proactively offered a room upgrade. The room itself was spacious with complete facilities, perfect for a family stay.
